Want to work for Fantasy Football Scout? Get in touch

As we gear up for the start of the 2020/21 season, we at Fantasy Football Scout are frantically working behind the scenes to make improvements for our site users and subscribers.

We have a number of exciting developments in the pipeline but we’ll need an additional body to help us roll out the changes we have planned.

This time we are looking for someone to take on a full-time tech-based role.

We want a front-end web developer with experience capturing requirements and delivering projects.

We are looking for the following skills from our candidates:

FRONT-END

  • HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Sass
  • React
  • jQuery
  • Bootstrap
  • AJAX

EXPERIENCE

  • BSC Computer Science or related 2.1 min
  • Two years minimum commercial experience

We mostly work remotely but, on occasion, we like to get together in person – so if you are based in/around London (or able to work there now and again), that would be beneficial.

However, those that work outside of London should most definitely still apply. Talent is more important to us than postcode!

Flexibility of hours is also preferable.

Based on past experience with our job adverts, we need to stress that it may take a little time to look through and respond to applications.

If you want to get involved with the next chapter of the site, please drop us a line with your CV at jobs@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Not keen on Lundstram. He won’t be what he was last season and will be rotated (if he actually stays... rumours say otherwise).

Different. And not sure I like it. Aguero very shaky early pick and I expect him to be extremely heavily rotated.

Any evidence of rotation in last 2 seasons beyond the times he was injured or just back from injury? Can't see any. May be wrong.

Managed minutes is the pattern I see.

Agree. City have been worryingly flat up top without him. If fit, i'm sure Kun is as nailed as can be in a Pep team.

Like the midfield and defence. Expect heavy Aguero rotation though so would reconsider forward line

    4. ritzyd
      • 6 Years
      3 years, 8 months ago

Yeah, hoping taa, robbo woukd cover pool attack to an extent. I figure the aguero slot could easily be any of the fw premiums (although think aguero is hugely overlooked - assuming hes fit of course) depending on fixtures/form. Woukd be tough to get to one of the 12m mid premiums though so seems a tiny bit inflexible.

I realise he's a big favourite on here, but I'm not convinced on Martial. As a 9m mid I'd be all over him, but losing midfield status tends to have a detrimental effect on an asset.

Would have scored 177 points last season. Which is 5th best. But what's most appealing is that his post-lockdown form has been so good. I think he can have a 20+ goal season if United find their form.

      1. Ser Davos
        • 8 Years

Post lockdown and Bruno there was a significant improvement, true

Inclined to agree. Had him in my draft for a good few days, but I've come to feel Aguero will blow him out of the water (so long as he stays fit) so I found the extra cash and lost Tony. Still on Bruno and Greenwood though.

The boy's doing brilliant. I think Shaw will struggle to regain his place. I've put Brandon in my starting line-up; if he loses his place there's plenty more decent 4.5s for a 1FT.

Hopefully not, has been really poor imo. So bad to position himself in defence and seems to struggle against tricky wingers(just see last night, got turned inside out against Suso and a old Navas who's now a RB).

As a MU fan I want Shaw back, asap.

Aston Villa are set to provide competition for Sheffield United for the signing of Aaron Ramsdale. Bournemouth accepted an £18.5m bid from the Blades for the keeper this weekend and talks over personal terms have begun but Villa have now entered the race. (Source: Sky Sports)

Tottenham have signed free agent goalkeeper Joe Hart on a two-year contract. (Source: talkSPORT)

Chelsea are keen on Juventus and Brazil left-back Alex Sandro, as a cheaper alternative to Ben Chilwell. (Source: Corriere Dello Sport)

Guess it depends it they rate Ramsdale along the lines of Fab. Villa were way better at the back post lockdown.

A guaranteed decent starting keeper for 8.5 is an option and I'd certainly go that over Ryan/Button.

DCL should be nowhere near your team with the options available.

This team also has a pretty severe bench problem. Would downgrade DCL, ASM and the defense and use the money to upgrade Foden to KdB.

The prices of forwards are quite interesting. Between 8.5 and 6.5 there's black hole - you just don't go there. Then below 6m there's nothing. So the options are: go big, 6.5-6.0, 4.5.

Werner + Soucek over Ziyech + Antonio is option C.

I just think the second option is a bit safer. A lot of eggs in the Werner basket that way for Chelsea who are probably the biggest unknown going into the new season.

Seems more are pushing for Casilla at Leeds, but as I understood he's already been told he'll play second fiddle to Meslier if he stays, who did keep Casilla's place after he returned from his ban (in other words, they're giving him the push). With that in mind then, Meslier and Miacek appear to be the go-to keepers.

If Spurs have easy early fixtures things will change. Same goes with tens of other players that aren't currently being mentioned.

A premium striker is no longer flavour of the month. Being a contrary sort, I have Kun as my main man.

You've overlooked one distraction though - EL qualifiers kick in before GW2.

              Two thoughts:

He doesn't have adequate back up.
Even if Harry is rested, the likes of Son or Bergwijn might play and be a bit tired.

Currently on Kane but if Aguero is likely to feature in GW1 it's going be a tough shout.

Liverpool are linked to Thiago Alcantara, not Thiago Silva.

And it puts every MF at risk. He's better than them all. Probably a horse's for courses approach depending on opponents.

Ah, yes. I'm assuming that's who the OP meant. Should be interesting, but doesn't affect any of the popular FPL assets.

Hmmm Laporte and Doherty or Salah?
Hmm, and you’d need at least a 4.5 defender in addition to Salah. So really it’s 16.5 mil vs 12 mil

Or Fernandinho at 5.5. Could easily be 325 pts. for 11.5.

      First draft.

      McCarthy
      Trent - Saliba - Vinagre
      Salah - KDB - Sterling - Bruno - Soucek
      Mitrovic - Adams

      4.0 | Struijk, Ferguson, Davis

Light bench, but happy to play with squad of 12-13 for the first few GWs to assess. Saliba could become another 4.5 such as CTaylor.

Looks good overall. I think you might be a touch light with 0 nailed on bench options but you can fix that with Bruno > Rashford.

      Leno McCarthy
      Taa bellerin Vinagre Bernardo Taylor
      Son mane auba greenwood asm
      Mitro wood antonio

Sticking with a 343 cheap options up top, I’m concerned with having no city players but how the hell do you for them in?
