    So how do Welbeck Maupay and Trossard fit in the same XI. Welbeck is just way too useful for his price. Enables another defender over BamBam.

      Wellbeck through the middle with the other 2 out wide, Potter played that system with good effect against Newcastle earlier in the season winning 3-0 with Connolly through the middle instead of Wellbeck

    Is it worth getting Wilson/Bamford/Adams over DCL for a hit? I have double Chelsea defence. If it is, which one would you go for?

          I got rid of DCL for Bamford as part of a double transfer to get Salah. Everton have dried up and those fixtures don't look good. I think I've bailed out re DCL just at the right time.

    My guess on salah:

    Yes he played 100 mins but minamino played jota almost same minutes so will he rest all 4 against Fulham? If so then who will be upfront against fulham? No ox means firm mane origi????? No way klopp would do that. It will be firm Mane salah..jota looked exhausted yesterday and poor and he is likely to be benched. I am a non salah owner though.

          I brought in Salah and Bamford before their price rises. I justified the -4 hit by captaining Salah. I stand by that. Klopp has made it clear Salah is fit and raring to go. If he gets a rest it will be the midweek game, not Fulham, imo. I expect Jota to start that one.

          theories in people's heads don't often ascribe to reality.

          Of course he could be rested against Fulham, but if there was a betting market with lots of liquidity on it on whether he'd start or not against Fulham, he'd be a strong favourite to start.

          So most of the time he is going to start, whether or not that fits with the narrative you've made in your head about Klopp's thinking and intentions.

            Agree.
            He is able to play 90 minutes every 3-4 days and he'll be more than ready on Sunday. But it is still odd that he played full 90 in a non important game. Klopp probably wants to keep him in form.
            I can see him getting rest after Spurs though.

      i'm planning to get him as well. This scenario is exactly the same last season where we thought he would be dropped but salah being salah is raring to go and wants to play every game! I believe he will start all games.

      he shd. Got taken off at 60mins. Both torres and b.silva played 90mins. I expect Sterling-Jesus-Mahrez to start.

    On a WC. Should I go for Mane instead of Salah? I can easily switch due to their similar price.

    Guys, on Salah possible rest vs Fulham:

    A. Salah already was rested 2 GWs before due to COVID, and played just 63 mins foloowing week
    B. Fulham game is surely more important than UCL game after 1st place is guaranteed? It will be more logical to rest him in that game.

    Thoughts?

      So you reckon he's fully fit and doesn't even need a rest in a game he didn't even have to play?
      If that's so, I agree.

      But I still think he won't get full 90 (if the W is in the bag) and that he will eventually get rested next Saturday at Palace.

          It was still weird he played him full 90 in UCL.
          They basicaly have 4 games in 10 days (Mid/Ful/TOT/Cpl).
          I'm not sure anyone expected him to start tonight, let alone this. Next 3 are in 6 days.

            From Klopp's comments my interpretation is that he had planned to take Salah off at some point but the guy's battery just wouldn't run down and insisted he wanted to keep going. Klopp also feels Salah had his cov-19-enforced rest and benefits from the minutes. Seems to me Klopp and Salah are totally confident about him playing (starting) v Fulham. May come off on 60 mins if the match is safe with Spurs in mind.

      There's going to be a heck of a lot of rotation in the next 3 GWs. You need a fully active bench so Mitchell there will hurt you. Personally I'd do a 2FT with Cancelo or Telles plus Mitchell to get 2 playing defenders.

      You might find it impossible to lose Son if he keeps scoring against all-comers. Fernandes can and does score against anyone also.

    2 questions
    1. Am I am looking at another Walker benching for both the weeks I have owned him ?

    2 I can get the cash to go Grealish to Son pretty easily.
    Based on fixtures and to avoid a hit would you hold off on this move for 2-3 weeks or just get Son ASAP.

      1 - no idea with pep but i would assume not
      2 - i prefer son over grealish but wouldnt take a hit to switch them. In your situation id probably keep jack for the WBA game then switch to son
