Have your say in the Fantasy Football Scout survey

As the Premier League season enters the final straight, we are asking Fantasy Football Scout site users to take part in our first major survey.

We are committed to creating industry-leading content now and in the future, so we want to identify what we’re doing well, what could be improved and what we could do more or less of, across our various channels.

This survey is your chance to have a say on every aspect of the Fantasy Football Scout brand and should take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

TAKE THE FFS SURVEY HERE

As Members Strategy Manager for the site, I am personally overseeing this collection process. The importance of having a robust set of data to draw business conclusions from is something I feel is especially important.

Just to give a bit of background, I completed a PhD in Psychology four years ago, so I have always had a passion for research and data analysis. Up until recently, I was a market researcher for a range of different organisations across many industries. And, as you may know, I have been a member and contributor of Fantasy Football Scout for over ten years now and have recently joined the team in a full-time capacity.

Now that I have taken on this new role, finding out what you think of Fantasy Football Scout is at the heart of what I do.

The survey is completely anonymous, but if you would like to be entered into the draw to win one of five £50 Amazon vouchers, please make sure you provide your email address (on the first question) and fully complete the series of questions.

This is your chance to have a say about everything we do at Fantasy Football Scout and we greatly appreciate your time on this. Thank you.

My no brainer move this week is to remove my failed one week punt on last week’s WC and do:
    Sterling > Son (FT)

With Son looking likely to rise tonight, it’s still better to wait until deadline right?

Would anything else be worth a -4 after the above move with this being the team?

    0itb 1.9itb
    Mendy
    TAA, Shaw, Rudiger
    Salah, Jota, Bruno, Son, Lingard
    Kane (C), Iheanacho
    (Forster) (Holding, Masuaku, Davis)

    Cheers

      Just the Son move imo.

What are your plans with Son after the double? Keep or move on?

I’d consider dropping again, possibly for Maddison, depending on how Son looks this GW

You don't need the funds, but Spurs have no European fixture so would be unlucky to pick up an injury.

Nothing worth a -4 for me, but not sure about Rudiger over Holding

Thanks mate. Instinct is to chase the value but there’s not much point at this stage with the WC and FH played.

Agree there’s a call to be made re Holding vs Rudiger. Can’t believe I’m saying that!

Absolutely no call with Holding and Rudiger surely

Arsenal have one clean sheet in their last ten - shocking defence really for returns. SHU - who did have chances - aren't the best barometer.

While we are on the topic of site features: Has there ever been an article explaining and justifying why the Key Stats in the Comparison Tool are the ones they chose, rather than the ones that tend to be quoted on the video content (like xG, xA, shots in the box, and big chances)?

There is a How To page, which I never noticed until now, which briefly states, "These [key stats] are considered a fair representative of stats that point to the likelihood of a player returning FPL points." The page also suggests that ICT Index, Creativity, and Threat are among the stats included, which is not what I see when I use the actual comparison tool.

I appreciate the request for feedback and the survey. I'm sure it will improve the site. Thank you Az and team for listening to everyone's input.

I sold Pope and brought in Johnstone but probably should have taken Forster for the extra 0.5 savings and just kept starting Martinez as he usually delivers...and I'd bet Lloris will get 2 and 2. Still, I had to use 3 transfers (2FT and -4) to get in Lingaard and move out Antonio and Pope, at least saving my WC and allowing for a TC on Kane this gw.

Davis won't play for me though but TAA and Rudiger with good fixtures.

Probably saving FT so it is possible I could upgrade Davis for free next week. My team's fixtures aren't as good though.

Strongly considering Fabio Silva from Wolves as my third striker. A goal and assist in the last two games, with Neto out, he will get more gametime. Could be on pens too.

He's gone unnoticed around these parts.

    1. pingissimus
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 11 months ago

      Interesting spot

But Vydra completely trumps him for value and nailedness - getting starts and goals at 0.4 cheaper. Go 0.3 more expensive and you can get Benteke - 3 goals in the last 7 and a DGW possibly with SHU and Southampton coming up 😉

      1. Digital-Real
        • 7 Years
        2 years, 11 months ago

Vydra next 3 are: mun, wol, WHU, compared to Silva: SHU, BUR, wba.
You'd argue Vydra is facing tougher defences in his next three, whilst Silva faces opposition defences that are leaking goals.
At 5.2m i'm also going to consider Robinson from WBA who's scored 3 goals in the last two games and appears to be going through a purple patch. Next three are: lei, avl, WOL, none of who's defence worry me as a tough nut to crack. Allardyce knows WBA need to go for it now for any hope of surviving, that means scoring goals to win games.
These are genuine options imo for a cheap striker.

        1. pingissimus
          • 5 Years
          2 years, 11 months ago

You going to play this striker?

If not I'd likely just get the cheapest one with minutes and some chance of a goal - ie Vydra. Unlikely as it may sound Benteke is the only one I'd choose to play and then strictly for one week as a DGW player with the best two fixtures in the league and as many recent goals as Salah.

Robinson is an interesting one. Prefer that to the Wolves lad

    Salah, Jota, Bruno, Son, Lingard
    Bamford, Kane

    Martinez, DCL, Konsa, Struijk

      Depends on your defence.

If you have both Targett and Dias then it might make sense. I'd go with the more exciting Shaw over Rudiger. Some argument for Coady/Saiss if Boly is back.

Both Arsenal (in particular ) and Leicester are an avoid for me. Fixtures only right now - and they may be deceptive given uptick in form at bottom clubs.

      Would have to say A.

Although Brighton are decent down back and so are Chelsea (suggesting a low scoreline), City should keep out Villa and Dallas in this form is hard to beat.

If Stones doesn't play then A coming off bench doesn't hurt

Personally my team started to slide when lockdown 2 came around. Having the kids around all of the time just took most of my fantasy football time away and what I did have got devoted to Sky as I am doing better there and it has a better prize so it makes sense
