Differentials on show as Fulham host Burnley

Fantasy Premier League differentials are the headline assets as Fulham host Burnley in Triple Gameweek 35.

Nick Pope (£5.5m) is tonight’s most-popular option with 10.7% ownership, while Alphonse Areola (£4.5m) is the runner-up with the backing of 4.6%.

Chris Wood (£6.4m) is the form asset, after posting five goals and three assists across his last five Premier League outings.

He is partnered by Matej Vydra (£4.8m) once again tonight, although both Ashley Barnes (£6.0m) and Jay Rodriguez (£5.7m) are on the Burnley bench.

Dwight McNeil (£5.7m) and Josh Brownhill (£4.9m) provide the width in midfield while Charlie Taylor (£4.4m) and Matt Lowton (£4.4m) are either side of James Tarkowski (£5.3m) and Ben Mee (£4.7m) in defence.

Fulham are in their 3-4-3 formation at Craven Cottage with Ademola Lookman (£4.8m) and Ivan Cavaleiro (£5.3m) flanking Aleksandar Mitrovic (£5.5m) in attack.

Triple Gameweek 35 Line-ups

Fulham XI: Areola; Adarabioyo, Andersen, Tete; A Robinson, Lemina, Anguissa, De Cordova-Reid; Lookman, Mitrovic, Cavaleiro.

Burnley XI: Pope; Taylor, Mee, Tarkowski, Lowton; McNeil, Westwood, Cork, Brownhill; Wood, Vydra.

    Thoughts on this FH team?

    Fabianski
    TAA Dallas Keane
    Salah Mahrez Son Foden
    Kane Aguero DCL
    ---------------------------------------
    Fabri Burke Mitchell Phillips

    0.5M itb.

    Bale over Son?
    Aguero too risky?

    Thanks.

Like the Bale shout but wouldn't pick Aguero if it was me.

Cheers. Might look at a 3-5-2 then without Aguero and with Bale and perhaps upgrade Phillips to Robertson.

Bale upside might be higher than son, but the downside is greater too. Personally, just pick son as you’ll be pretty much guaranteed 90 mins x 3. If bale is benched or subbed early, it wouldn’t be a shock and he may be 1 bad performance from the bench again...

No. Wolves can be hard to break down at times and you’re putting eggs in a dodgy basket there.

Aguero is a risk but good chance if he dosen't start Pep might not play him at all, so make sure your bench is in order. Wouldn't want Burke coming in for him anyways.

As per me all City picks need solid sub options on the bench. Your team does not have that.

True. Might have to go without Aguero.

Yes. Antonio for Aguero maybe. Keep the City mids and use the funds to get 2 good bench options.

What teams would you target offensively (mids, fwds) going forward?

Good opportunity to ditch Man Utd and Lei assets imo.

Liverpool not exactly firing offensively and many have double mids. Reckon Spurs have the motivation to finish strong?

The likes of WHU (Antonio, Lingard), Everton (DCL) and Leeds attackers seem logical but not exactly explosive. Differentials like City mids and even Callum Wilson seem exciting picks

    1. DARK SIDE OF THE LOON

Man City players are ok if you have a great bench. Look for teams with some motivation to play. With technically no relegation battle, teams aiming for European positions are the best to target.

One penalty all season - not sure that's much of a factor tbh and well fixtures could hardly be more even now Brighton defence is crocked and no better than Burnley.

Antonio if looking for more explosive but risky option in terms of injury. Bamford for a more safer an steadier bet.

    B) Nacho to Antonio

    Kane DCL Nacho*

Fulham badly needed to bring in a proven goalscorer back in January, all those drawn games and near losses have done for them.

    1. DARK SIDE OF THE LOON
      • 7 Years
      3 years, 1 month ago

The problem with them is that they are a yo-yo club. Always tough to get a proven goal scorer for a club like that.

True, not easy to find. Wonder could they have even got someone like Lingard on loan?

        1. DARK SIDE OF THE LOON
          • 7 Years
          3 years, 1 month ago

Even that is difficult. A club would send a player on loan if it wants that player to develop and come back a better player or get bought by that club or perform at a level where he becomes an attractive buy for other clubs. None of those would have worked in a Lingard to Fulham situation.

The best chance for a newly promoted team is to develop from within. Like Leeds.

They should have signed him in the summer when they went up, before Brentford got him.

Amazing to think Newcastle let him go years ago too.

Think the problem is slightly different myself

Parker has bene fairly safety first and rarely set out to attack games. They've looked pretty but rarely incisive - not sure it's been a case of creating chances that haven't been converted.

Against Palace for instance it took around 70 minutes before he went on the attack - feared the counter too much.

          Yep

Can be done of course. It was the Pulis trick but suspect it works best for teams that work on the counter - not Fulham's style really.
