Leeds v Aston Villa team news: Rodrigo returns, Bamford a sub

In the final Premier League match of the day, Leeds United host Aston Villa at Elland Road.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

Jesse Marsch makes three changes from the side that lost 5-2 at Brentford in Gameweek 8, as Liam Cooper, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo all start.

The latter returns after a shoulder injury, having scored four goals in the first five Gameweeks.

Patrick Bamford, meanwhile, is among the substitutes.

As for the visitors, Diego Carlos, Boubacar Kamara, Matty Cash and Lucas Digne are all out, which does leave the Villans somewhat short at the back.

That means Ludwig Augustinsson is handed a debut, while Douglas Luiz will screen the back four.

Budget midfielder Leon Bailey also starts alongside Philippe Coutinho and Ollie Watkins in attack.

    Slight regret of not thinking more heavily on TCing Haaland. I said if it was a bit later in the season I would have probably done it so I suppose I'm just being silly in hindsight . Still, might need to think these things through a bit more if the idea is there at all in the first place

        It's not really that, tbh I'd be less sure of the Southampton game than ManUtd, they often give City trouble, I just felt this would be a good game for City, especially with ManUtd coming into it more confident than they would have been a month ago. We know City will have at least two DGWs so that's really the core thing putting me off using it now

      I have 3 from both Arsenal and City. Keeping Haaland, Saliba and then unsure on the next, might keep KDB if I'll lose too much value on him as looking at the next 4 before the world cup I'll likely want him back. Martinelli to Zaha on the cards this week, keeping Jesus until GW12 and guess the same for Cancelo. Will WC them back in in GW13 if I think it's worthwhile

      Martinelli could go for Trossard/LEE mid, but I like his immediate fixtures after too.

        Id find every way to keep KDB if i had him

        Everton have put up very nice stats in defence recently so Spurs -Everton may not be a great target

        Can see KDB doing fine away to liverpool, only downside is the week 12 blank - again west ham defence looking fine lately and in top 4 of xGc - not gona be an easy game for Liverpool

          I agree, the form of the alternative options doesn't make it an amazing switch - but that's why my options are open.

          Still not really considering selling Cancelo because the defenr options aren't awesome, especially the alternatives between GW11-13 & Cancelo often just needs a CS to end up with a 9-pointer or so.

      Have Haaland, Foden, Cancelo and Martinelli. Never actually thought about FH in gw12 though it is tempting. Plan was to get rid of Foden and bench the other 3 but after today I'm not sure I'd want to get rid of any of them. Cancelo maybe but would still want City defence after gw12

      Need to know the status of Andersen.

      Ward would play at RB with Guehi & Andersen starting. Tomkins is a CB by trade, whereas Ward has played RB plenty enough.

      Plus Clyne could be back for GW12.

      Also Guehi struggled a bit with something so if him and Andersen had an issue for example, it's probably better off you don't have a Palace defender at all.

    Haaland's 46 points got me about 167k rank rise.

    KDB and 8 points about 128k ranks.

    Back up to 376'k rank before Leeds v Villa and my 2nd red arrow last week.

    Still doesn't mean I would have been better off not captaining Haaland. KDBs points were worth double Haaland's relatively, but Haaland scoring 23 points means that absolutes count in this game as well as differentials.

      The trouble is that Haaland basically never blanks.
      So the EO will always work against you. Just continue captaining Haaland and make gains elsewhere

            In same boat, am considering fh for 12. Would be the first season ever didn’t use it on dgw. I do still have wc gonna have to wait n see about mitro, other option I do nada and do mini wc into 12, wc into 13
