      A. Andersen and Bowen. Unless you can make good use of the money saved on Mitchell.

        Mbeumo or Palmer maybe. Chelsea fixtures turning soon. Prefer Mbeumo though.

      Save for now. Who knows what happens in next two weeks.
      Maybe Cash to Palace defender for a few games if you want to do something but it's not essential.

    Im thinking of getting Watkins in....are owners keeping long term despite some tougher fixtures or selling? If so, for who?

      50-50 tougher games mean teams that attack so it may make more space for him. On the other hand, they may have good defences too. I will see over the international break. The big question for me is who would I bring in to replace him?

      Hmm not sure. See more goals in the Spurs vs. Villa game than Brentford vs. Arsenal (on paper).

      The week after, sure.

        This, I see goals galore in the Spurs game and then Siaby has bourn after that. Hold for one more week then reassess.

    Hi guys. How does this look for -8? Looking to try and gey Haaland back.

    TAA, Cash, Son, Hojlund> Tsimi, Mitchell, Eze and Haaland? Have exact funds. Probably have to do it tonight due to price changes.

      Sorry, it will give me the following.
      Areola (Turner)
      Gabriel, Mitchell, Trips (Taylor, Tsimi)
      Saka Salah Bowen Eze (4.3)
      Watkins Alvarez Haaland

      It looks pretty ropey to me, but agree with the principle that you need to get Haaland back. So I guess just take the pain – decent week for a bad week, if you know what I mean, no standout fixtures

      Personally I think a -8 with an IB and lots of time between now and the next GW is extremely risky. The landscape will have changed by then and it may be another player in your squad gets injured and needs to be sold meaning the moves you have exact cash for now become irrelevant. I'd sit tight and reassess in a couple of weeks.

    Need to find space for Salah:

    Pope Turner
    Tsimikas Cash Saliba Porro Botman
    Son Saka Diaz Mbeumo HeeChan
    Haaland Alvarez Darwin

    A) Son/Diaz/Alvarez -> Salah/Palmer/Archer -4 (0.2 ITB)

    B) Son/Diaz/Pope -> Salah/Palmer/Johnstone -4 (1.4 ITB)

    C) Other?

      Saka for me closely followed by Mbeumo, getting him in for GW14 feels pretty important. I like Palmer a lot too but reckon he can wait a while longer given the fixtures. I'd certainly be looking to get him in GW17 though for that run. Not keep on Doku personally, I think he's an exceptional player but can't trust his minutes.

        Thanks! Don’t think Newcastle or Liverpool will keep a clean sheet, Tsimikas just has a bit more attacking potential than Lascelles.

    Need to get a 4.8 or less defender who I'd start in GW13 and 14.

    Burnley, Sheff Utd, West Ham, and Forest seem to have the best fixtures for those 2 weeks, but not sure I'd plump for any of their defenders and I already have Areola in goal. Arsenal and Palace are other options but I'm not sure if I want to double up with their defences either - have Saliba and the only other affordable Arsenal option is Gabriel, plus I've got Andersen for Palace and looking to shift him anyway after the next few.

    Is Lascelles with home games against Chelsea and Man Utd a decent option? The alternative is to play TAA for City away and downgrade him to Tsimikas in GW14 (as part of the plan to free up funds to bring back Haaland for GW14). Or is there another 4.8 or less defender I'm not considering here?

      Just been looking at this myself. This coming GW is a tough week for most of my players so was looking to change one of the defenders and my budget is the same. I have the same reservations as you mention for the games above. Was considering Everton but even then I’m unsure their form will hold and the IB may have come too early

      Brentford after Arsenal maybe?

      1. House Frey Wedding Planner

        I did consider Everton and Brentford as well. Have similar concerns as you about Everton's form and their fixtures are middling at best.

        I've also got GW18 in the back of my mind and Everton have Spurs away then, and Brentford blank. The moves I'm looking to make to reaccommodate Haaland for GW14 are TAA, Son, Watkins ➡ Haaland, Mbeumo, and a 4.8 or less defender.

        Considering I'm bringing in Mbeumo, I don't want to have another issue for GW18 about getting rid of a Brentford defender. Plus I don't think they'll stop Arsenal from scoring in GW13.

        I think maybe I should just play TAA against City and then move him on in GW14 where the fixtures are kinder for more teams and I'll have better options then?

        Utd's fixtures up to and including GW18 are: Everton (a), Newcastle (a), Chelsea (h), Bournemouth (h), Liverpool (a), West Ham (a).

        It's not a great run of fixtures and it's Man Utd who are inconsistent at best. If their next 2 were good then I might have considered Utd and dealt with it later, but I don't think they keep a clean sheet against Newcastle and not sure if it's worth it against Everton keeping in mind that their fixtures will be getting tougher afterwards anyway.
