    A) Gross (-4 to get Haaland next GW if required)
    B) D.Luiz
    C) Neto

It was a dangerous tackle and a clear red. They only overturned it because a bunch of ex player pundits who think that players should be able to play that way and only get sent off if you seriously injure your opponent moaned about it.

      1. M00N

Never a red in a million years. Assuming you've never partaken in any physical activity in your life and believe that the slightest touch causes tremendous damage requiring medical treatment. This is where they perform a miracle on the pitch allowing them to continue playing like nothing happened. If unattended them may die!

He dived in with his studs at shin height. If the other guys leg had been planted and he caught him full on instead of a glancing the shin pad, it could have easily broken his leg. The modern day laws and interpretation are designed to discourage those types of tackles. We can either enjoy watching skillful players or go back to the days of letting them kick lumps out of each other.

Getting Haaland even if there is a sniff that he is fit is getting harder this week.

Would mean removing a player that is likely to play (rather than Son, Salah, Trent), which just feels wrong.

I brought taa last week and now I'm considering selling him immediately this week

long term, I don't think there is value in high cost defenders this season (which makes me question why I brought him in the first place lol) and I want to have salah, son and Haaland in my team long term as well

I did Salah for Bowen early because their prices were moving in opposite directions. Thankfully held off bringing TAA in which was going to be my other free transfer.

Easy to say that people moving early are foolish but if you're trying to fit Salah, Son, Haaland and potentially TAA into the same team then an extra 0.2 can go a long way. Took a gamble with Bowen and perhaps it won't pay off. Hopefully we get some more solid news pre deadline.

I agree - it's definitely more fun having to pick from different ways of playing. I held off on Foden and Bowen to see if they got injured in their FA Cup games. I got Foden afterwards on Sunday because of possible price changes even though there were still a few days to go until the deadline.

This may come as a shock but price changes or not, if you put all 4 of the big names in your team you are shopping in the Ross Barkleys rather than Bowens for the rest of the team.

Depends on whom you transferred in. Son and Salah are out, too, so if you didn't move in Bowen, TAA, or someone else who picked up an injury (or Haaland, who might not play), it might work out just fine -- the same, in fact, as it would otherwise.

am I alone in holding Salah until he returns because I don't think he will drop enough to take him below my sell price (I have him at the start)? I guess it depends on whether you can live with definite blanks on your bench or what else you would do to secure points until he returns.

I like B, but as a Man U fan I have to admit that Richarlison has a good chance of scoring a goal or two at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Injury news has certainly perked up my early wildcard choice! Now to drop TAA and Bowen and bank some cash (I had them before W) and tinker for the rest of the week!

Kabore -> Estupian a good move? May take a -4 if Bowen is out.

I really like the look of Estu and may well get him in GW22. I am looking at taking a -4 to get another midfielder this week.

Had a quick look at my mini league rivals and with all these players out I can see us all having almost identical teams by GW22. Captain choices are going to be vital.
