See you own Trent. Surely he has to go? 8.5 knackered - no chance he plays both imo. I’m looking to sell.

I may switch him to someone who plays in 26. Then use the change to upgrade Gordon to Jota. That way I'm not adding to my gw26 issues. I guess Bradley could be an option if Trent confirmed out now. We'll see.

Worth looking at Van Hecke if you don’t have him already - due to go up soon from 4.0 to 4.1, but better fixtures than Branthwaite (both unlikely to play in BGW 29, of course). Hoping others don’t jump on him too early in the week!

I think we'll know more later in the week. Klopp said Trent said he was fine to carry on didn't he? So can't be too bad, I think they took him off as a precaution. But I certainly think he's a massive minutes risk so Bradley will probably get something.

Even if Trent is not ruled out, Bradley will be a good option, he’s sure to start Luton & Trent can’t complete 90 so a good chance he gets mins in the other game. Same situation for their forwards really.

    Dubravka

    Estu - Trent - Porro

Richarlison - Garnacho- Jota - KDB

Noob question, haha, but does the GW rank include points hits? Every logic under the sun suggests it should do, but given my bizarre rank movement profile, i assume it doesn't?

GW rank only considers the points of a gameweek, that's why you see lots of teams having taken lots of hits

Agree, except that Trent seemed to have taken longer than normal to get to speed. 4 games in, he was still taken off at 57 mins last week, which raised concerns. Then the new injury. I suspect there are deeper issues at play. Either way, a clear sell!

    4 doublers in 25- TAA/Foden/Haaland/Darwin
    5/6 blankers in 26- Porro/TAA/Rich/Palmer/Darwin + possibly Beyer.

Thinking Porro-> Stones + maybe a hit somewhere.
    Anything standing out?

    Dubravka.
    Porro, TAA, Trippier.
    Foden, Saka, Richarlison, Garnacho.
    Darwin, Watkins, Haaland (TC).

      Nice. On a similarish path.
5.7m OR in GW 7 (WC in GW4 which proved the ultimate disaster).
      2.3m OR in GW 15. 250k now.

At times this season it felt really tough and I had to readjust expectations and mindset.

Ait Nouri is a deputy-editor-special differential pick. The result = 1 point in my starting 11.

The editor of scout doesn't watch Wilder's embargoed press conference and therefore doesn't put Archer in the starting 11 of the predicted line ups despite the juicy Luton fixture warranting extra attention. The result = 7 points on my bench.

    Cheers Scouty-Babes.

Luton have been on fire and Shef Utd have been poor- the result was a surprise. Even when Archer has been playing, he’s been peripheral in recent matches. Meanwhile, Wolves have looked good and if they hadn’t lost two strikers just before and during the match, RAN could’ve been in the points.

There is a lot of joy in working out the probabilities of FPL outcomes but if you could provide cast iron certainties before matches, this game would be easy and we’d all get 100 points

There is a wealth of defenders around the 4.0 - 4.4 mark. What would the thinking be on having 4 of them rotating in a 343/352 freeing up funds to have a lot of big hitters in mid and attack.
I could have Salah, son, Saka, KDB, Haaland , Gabriel, solanke, chuna, garnacho.
Only reason I’m thinking this is that clean sheets are like hens teeth and might be better using the money on potential goal scorers/assisters

I have some very fun transfer options this week.

    Dubravka Areola
    Estupinan Porro Gabriel Burn Carlos
    Foden Saka Richarlison Palmer Jota
    Haaland Watkins Darwin

    4.6m ITB

    A) Estupinan + Palmer > KdB + Reguilon -4
    B) Porro + Palmer > KdB + Doughty -4
    C) Richarlison > KdB

Currently leaning A... Estupinan looks a bit suspect and doesn't seem worth the money. I get KdB in and I have 6 doublers and still can field XI in 26 with Darwin > Solanke.

A seems sensible yeah as won't be anyway playing Palmer for some time now. Son arrival makes Richarlison a bit less potent but we can see more data vs Wolves to clear that up. Can advice me below wrt second chance league?

I took out Palmer this week so personally prefer his removal to Rich's. I'm not convinced by either defender there, in truth. I'd be inclined to consider a Liverpool one, if you can afford? Just can't see Brentford troubling the scorers. Potentially Bradley depending on TAA situ?

Can't afford. Only one I can get is Bradley and unless Trent is ruled out for a few weeks I don't know if he's worth it considering he blanks in 26.

Reguilon is actually kind of perfect because he plays in 26 and 29 and is taking corners. He's not great for this week but he has whu in 26 and BUR in 29 which is when I'd most need him plus he'd get a DGW next.

That's fair, especially with set pieces. Didn't realise another DGW chance? Bournemouth boys potentially also worth considering if you have cover this week

Brentford double in 25 - it's City and Pool which is basically a SGW but it still counts.

So guys I am going for second chance league and I started few gws before it started scoring. I can see my rank of 170k in second chance but not it's points, showing me only overall points. Any advice on am I eligible for second chance or not?

Had a quick look. If you have a rank, surely you are in. For points looks like you'll need to do a bit of scrolling or quick maths.

Do you think 3 City & 2 Liverpool players is enough for GW25.
I'm think about getting VVD. But have Gabriel (bur) & Est (shu) I could play instead

The other SGW options have nice fixtures so I reckon one Pool attacker is probably fine

If Salad is not expected to play Game-1, do you still want him for game 2 only?

Seems he could cameo on Game2 if he misses Game-1 entirely

It sounds like a leap of faith, but would you go KDB>Salah for D2W?
Klopp said that he might be ready for Brentford.
