This afternoon we reveal the names of the competitors who won their seventh round ties to earn a place in Gameweek 21’s quarter-final stage of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.
A reminder that, for this contest there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.
The competition’s highest placed manager Bashvilla, who is placed 9,708 in the world, will face Hazardous Blue, after seeing off Real Sociopath 47 – 39 in the last 16 round, which took place in Gameweek 19.
Hazardousblue is ranked just under 50,000 places below the competition favourite and prevailed over Lowlifegimpe 57 to 43 in round seven.
The second highest placed manager, 14,654 ranked Moin, squares up to malvernangells, who is just 2,000 places behind him following Gameweek 19’s fixtures.
Our other quarter-finals see Back on the Horse take on David Brains. The former will be the favourite with a rank of 18,929 compared to his opponent’s placing of 69,806.
Finally, the contest’s lowest ranked manager, 306,421 placed Urchin, has a tough encounter with a A Manager Has No Name, who sits in the top 40,000 following his Gameweek 19 victory over jacknap.
The manager to win the highest score prize in the last sixteen, claiming £30 credit from FanDuel, is David Brains who scored 60 points in his defeat of Big Phil Soccer Team.
The managers to earn a £10 FanDuel credit for the next highest scores were: Hazardous Blue, A Manager Has No Name, Urchin and jacknap.
