FPL Question Time – Consult panel ahead of Double Gameweek 35

Fantasy Premier League managers have endured a tough Gameweek 34 and almost certainly have questions for the next round of fixtures.

We are hurtling into the final Double Gameweek of the season with the Bench Boost chip looking the most likely to be deployed.

With the fixtures still appearing tricky to navigate, and the captaincy even harder, we have brought together another panel of managers to help you out.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Always Cheating Podcast – The USA’s most popular FPL podcast created by Josh and Brandon

Who Got the Assist? – One of the best known FPL podcasts this side of the Atlantic, the brainchild of Tom and Nick.

Rotation’s Alter Ego – One of our very own moderators on the site, who is currently in the top 5,000.

Would you still BB this squad in gw35?

    Foster, Ryan
    Robbo, Doherty, Laporte, Duffy, Valery
    Sterling, Mané, Son, Jota, JWP
    Aguero, Jiménez, Deeney (>Wilson)

Could dump one BHA for just a -4. Even then, still not the worst BB squad ever.

      It'd be gw35 or gw36 for BB.

Sean Morrison is top for all defenders for penalty box touches this season with a staggering 107. This is mainly because he is the target for Cardiff’s long throw-ins into the box, but with 7 goals for Cardiff in the Championship last year, could he be a double gameweek hero?

If you bring brighton def for the upcoming dgw on a hit, does it count as -2 or -6 or -8?

      ??

      Open ended answer

Depends of who you took out and what they score and also what your BHA player scores over DGW35.

It’s all mathematics after the -4 triggers it all off.

I have heard lots of moaning about what a terrible week it has been for people. This isn't a terrible week. A low average gameweek score cannot be a bad week for you. It could be a really good week if you had Lucas or a Bournemouth asset. But not a bad week because you finished 5 points off the top 10k average.

A bad week is a week which has a couple of high scoring (usually high captaincy picks) which you don't own. The week Salah played Bournemouth is my example. That is the week you plummet in rank. That is a bad week.

    This isn't a bad week.

Then that is your fault and not the sites. People said I was mad to BB in 32. I went from 20k to 400 in a few weeks. I didn't listen to them.

There has also been plenty of other good bits of advice. The key is deciding which is which. I tend to think I have a better idea than the average contributor which means that I use it for opinions more than to make my decision for me.

Absolute rubbish imo. If you paid a few Pounds to be a member, the in depth analysis you can gain from it, is invaluable. It has not done me any harm tbh... You haven’t even paid to be a member, so I don’t know how you can complain to be honest?? It’s your choice to have whoever you like in your team and you don’t have to follow the crowd..Become a member and get access to more info so you can make more informed decisions, I think, but I agree there’s an element of luck as well..

You missed my point mate. I appreciate I haven't been a paying member, even though I was a member before the charges were brought in, I still think the comments board is full of fake news.

      Controversial, no. Wrong, yes.

No it's not controversial but FPLvirging giving advice on reply is kinda ironic, don't you think?
