Departures could hurt Crystal Palace’s FPL assets this season

An examination of last season’s underlying statistics suggests that the new campaign could prove tough for Crystal Palace.

The Eagles have already lost Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£5.5m) to Manchester United and other clubs continue to sniff around important attacking asset Wilfried Zaha (£7.0m).

Whether they would be able to cope without the pair is certainly a key question that Fantasy managers should be considering this summer.

As we resume our Numbers Game series, we take a look at the defensive and offensive numbers for Roy Hodgson’s players both as a team and individually to assess their credentials as Fantasy assets in 2019/20.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who are signed up for the season can access it in full.

Newcastle concede. Ritchie goes off injured. Joelinton scores.

Got (A) at the moment but Alli returning to form and Sterling 'midfield advantage' over kane is too tasty.

    A) Kane KDB

    B) Sterling Alli

Gudmonsson and I think Barnes (was from a cross and Barnes causing trouble according to local rag updates so may have been crosser). Gudmonsson is an interteresting one, amazing assist potential, was linking up well with Barnes the other preseason game. 42% fgi. On set pieces.

I think I have nailed it.. my only worry is that I don't have Sterling and 3x MCI already

    Lloris
    Robertson TAA Digne Zinchenko Stones
    Salah (C) KDB Perez
    Kane King

    Button Greenwood Dendoncker 4.5

Could do Salah + Stones -> Luiz + Sterling in gw3 if need be

Can’t decide on how much to spend on a keeper

    A) Ederson and Wilson
    Or
    B) Ryan and Vardy

That’s a good point. Seems like Ederson and Wilson is way better. I want Vardy though. You really need to be ruthless to play fpl.

It’s more Ederson and Jiminez. But still
