To one ref something will be clear and obvious then the next week with a different ref he'll see it differently

But where do you draw the line for "clear and obvious" with offsides? 1 cm? 10 cm? 20 cm?

Isn't it to replace the champions league rather than national leagues

UEFA is trying to push through a change in format for the champions league so they can add 4 teams and add 4 games per team in one group rather than multiple groups as it is now and they would have 8 direct qualified teams plus 8 play off winners to add even more games, so the big European Clubs are using this as the time to try to push through their Super league plan which they've wanted to do for years as they will make crazy amounts of money by doing this and have guaranteed European Football every year.

I feel this is just going to end in some sort of compromise where they may get a bigger piece of the existing UCL and the changes aren't as drastic, but u never know, these owners are ruthless business men and their number 1 priority is making as much profit as possible, everything else is secondary.
