Fixtures

Remaining fixtures announced but FPL managers wait on Double Gameweeks

The Premier League have released the dates of outstanding fixtures for the end of the season, although we await confirmation of exactly when the next Double Gameweek will take place.

A host of fixtures have been allocated to the midweek of the week commencing Monday, May 10 while Gameweek 37 has been delayed until the midweek of the week commencing Monday, May 17.

However, whether or not the following midweek fixtures will join the back-end of Gameweek 35 or constitute the beginning of a Double Gameweek 36 remains unclear.

We know we will get one more Double Gameweek but as things stand, we do not know whether it will be in Gameweek 35 or Gameweek 36.

Either Gameweek 35 will be a large Double Gameweek with eight teams playing twice and Gameweek 36 acting as a blank for four teams, or Gameweek 35 will be a standard round and Gameweek 36 will be a Double.

      Bale - head choice too

Head says Bale has scored 5 goals an assist to 2 goals and 3 assists from Son since GW26 - one of those was a pen that he won't be getting again.

The FPL GW deadline has never been moved by more than 24 hours, even during Covid has it ?

If that doesn't change we will have a massive DGW37 with all these fixtures taking place.

    Saturday 15 May
15:00 Southampton v Fulham (Sky Sports)
20:00 Brighton v West Ham (Sky Sports)

    Sunday 16 May
12:00 Crystal Palace v Aston Villa (Sky Sports)
14:05 Spurs v Wolves (Sky Sports)
16:30 West Brom v Liverpool (Sky Sports)
19:00 Everton v Sheff Utd (BT Sport)

    18-19 May*
    *dates and kick-off times TBC
    Brighton v Man City
    Burnley v Liverpool
    Chelsea v Leicester
    Crystal Palace v Arsenal
    Everton v Wolves
    Man Utd v Fulham
    Newcastle v Sheffield Utd
    Southampton v Leeds
    Spurs v Aston Villa
    West Brom v West Ham

    and possibly

    Friday 14 May
20:00 Newcastle v Man City (Sky Sports)

    Saturday 15 May
12:30 Burnley v Leeds (BT Sport)

I doubt those last two matches would be in same gw. Two weekends during same gw, I doubt it.

Yep that would mean only one game in one weekend or it is either this or as you were (DGW35 as per Ben Crellin).

No those two fixtures would be before not after the rest of the fixtures. So only one weekend with up to 8 fixtures, and 10 games in midweek.

Unless the GW deadlines are changes GW35 will not be a DGW for anyboby.

So ideal for a WC GW35 ready for DGW36 and if you have BB or TC left you can use that chip in DGW36

If deadlines aren't changing GW36 will be a partial blank GW, GW37 would be the big double.

Who blanks in 36 (my bad for 35)?

              TUESDAY 11 MAY
20:00 Southampton v Crystal Palace (Sky Sports)
              WEDNESDAY 12 MAY
18:00 Man Utd v Leicester (BT Sport)
20:15 Chelsea v Arsenal (Sky Sports)
              THURSDAY 13 MAY
20:00 Aston Villa v Everton (Sky Sports)

              Looks like DGW37 then?

    1. Lav

0% unless Mendy gets injured. Was given another game because of keeping a cs in the FA Cup, so was rewarded. Mendy is #1. People reading into GK situation at Chelsea way to much. TT was just trying to keep Kepa happy - and you will not see him again until probably the FA Cup final.

Why would they change it? Because Crellin called it wrong?!? No reason imho. Dgw 36 makes much more sense and less hustle for "casuals". Dgw 35 fixtures were confirmed already last week.

If they don't change the DGW36 deadline, they are unlikely to change the GW37 deadline. That would mean a massive DGW37 (see three post above).

XI and bench order look correct?

    Lloris
    Digne / Dallas / Shaw
    Salah / Jota / Lingard / Son
    Kane / Watkins / Iheanacho

    BENCH: Johnstone
    TAA / Azpi / Raphinha

I'm thinking Azpi rest. Beyond that it's picking 2 from Shaw/Watkins/TAA.
