This afternoon, we roll out the fifth round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup X, as sponsored by Paddy Power, and take a look back at the key events during Boxing Day’s fourth round ties.
There were three centurians in round four, who managed to go through into the fifth round in style with impressive three-digit points totals. United Nations was the fourth round’s top scorer, with his tally of 103 earning him £25 of free bets with Paddy Power.
Gimli son of Gloin’s score of 101 was more than enough to see off Dez and earn a fifth round tie with 1966 was a great year. Meanwhile, Luke Costello’s perfect century got the better of Rich Davies in the fourth round.
Granville also marches on, with his 71 score enough to take him through to the fifth round, where he faces Mediocre Men.
Other key fifth round match ups include Mata Is The Juan, who has drawn the short straw and faces the competition’s highest ranked manager Never Trust Lukaku, who sits in eighth overall. Laurel Hill faces United Nations, while Triggy takes on the Mutant Ninja Skrtels.
In total, 14 of the 64 fifth round competitors are in the top 1,000, further underlying how tough this tournament is during its later stages.
The full list of fourth round results can be found here while the fifth round draw in full can be found here.
