Sunday’s solitary fixture gets underway at 4pm as promoted pair Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle United square up at the Amex Stadium.

With many now filling their forward lines with premium frontman, we get the chance to run the rule over a trio of budget midfielders today.

Newcastle number one Rob Elliot is the most owned player for Sunday’s clash, sitting in 23.7% of squads after conceding just once in his previous three. Yet he is the most benched player in the Gameweek, with over 808,000 naming him among their subs.

      Coutinho and Silva by some distance. Coutinho will hoover up the baps and Silva or Sane are much better choices than Sterling who has flattered to deceive far too often.

    Which would you prefer: Richarlison/Morata or Mkhi/Wood+1.5 ITB. I Know bit harder to compare, but I have just the right amount of money ITB to make the trade and Morata is rising, Richarlison probably later this week. Mkhi and Wood have done well, however on the old 'eye test' I'm not too sure about them to keep producing like this. Appreciate any opinions!

      Utter madness I want Silva too but my losses for - 8 were nowhere near the quality of the players you would lose. And I still did not take the minus 8 - actually going to sit on FT. Silva in can wait a week but find another way.

      I like it.

      Don't see Mkhi as an explosive player, so not a huge loss. Just your only Man U attack going if you drop Mkhi is the issue.

      Whereas is Liverpool run ragged you would think Coutinho would have a fair share in things.

    I seen a number of people saying that having three striker big hitters is 'bad value'

    Just an observation but surely when there is a severe lack of options < 8mill in midfield.... its better to invest our money in the front men?

      Yep. Did that from the start, and only just starting to downgrade last week. Makes sense to me to go heavy in defence and attack, but the landscape is changing as we get more infor about the midfield (and everyone else).

      It also depends on the individual team. If it takes 5 transfers to readjust the structure to get the premium forwards you like, and still be happy with your team, then yeah it probably is poor value or not worth planning for.

      Instead of Forster, get Krul or some other 4.0gk. Then spend the extra mil on defence. It will still be imbalanced, but not as horrific as what you have now.

      Yeah, it looks pretty good but as above I'd go for Elliott + £4m and also maybe Jesus over aguero to give you £2m extra in defence (or Ritchie for King!)
