Don't like the Fofana pick though, rather have Morris or Wood to come in for Watkins may he miss out.

      Anything worth a -4 here??
(trying to get Haaland/Salah back in next 2 weeks)? **WC played already**

      A. Solanke > Muniz
      B. VVD > Udogie/Regulion

      Kaminski (Areola)

Who do you guys like out of Toney and solanke for the rest of the season?

I don’t have a wildcard so this is a move I’m considering this week to get to 10 players this week and hold Toney onwards

I think as an asset generally I prefer solanke but Toney has the better of the run ins as well as an extra game, is either expected to double again?

I also think Brentford have just come off a really bad run of fixtures and coming into some easier games now, could be set for some better returns

      What do you guys think?

It’s not based on any research but It think if any of the two is due to get a haul it’s Toney, plus you don’t have to worry about him missing a penalty.
Return of Mbeumo might benefit him too.

I’d go Toney myself but then again I’m not an expert so pls don’t hold me to it.

Bournemouth have the better immediate fixtures and a double at some point. Brentford have the better run-in. Both focal points, Solanke’s price and extra fixture maybe edge it.

Look at Solanke’s form, it has not been good for FPL except for one or two games and Bournemouth have had a good run of games. Bournemouth have Chelsea, Villa, Utd and Arsenal in their last 9 games which will be tough so it is Toney for me.

You need to consider the opposition that Brentford have faced - Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool.

I get the feeling people defending Toney like this havent been watching how he's been dropping deep & linking up play while the chances are falling to others (Wissa/Maupay). E.g. Brentford put up 1.83 xG v CHE but Toney's share was only 0.09

Not defending Toney, I’m not his wife nor solicitor.
I just think that he is still a very good forward who has a game this week and favourable run in.

For me it's a question of getting Toney for GW29 for Solanke or not. I still have WC available, but if i sell Solanke now I'll lose 0.4 on him when getting him back on WC in 31.

I already have Toney and 8 to field - non FH.
Thinking about -4 to get in Wissa which at worst should only be -2 which is a risk I’m willing to take against Burnley.

Will WC in 31 so can offload then.

Other option is Muniz and his plum GW30 fixture.

No, but but they often switch back to a back 4 against the "smaller" teams, check on sofascore the reverse fixture where they played a 433 as well.

Currently have (1FT, 0ITB, FH, BB and second wildcard intact):

      Areola
      Doughty - Taylor - Reguilon
      Son - Bowen
      Watkins

      Not playing:

      Dubravka
      VVD - Gabriel
      Gordon - Foden - Saka
      Haaland - Solanke

Was thinking Gordon and Solanke > Maddison and Muniz for a -4, which would give me 9 (if Watkins plays). Could also FH, but hoping to hold really.

What do we think? Any other suggestions?

Many on here happy with 5/6 attackers this week. Ultimately it’s hit(s) now and your team after the blank vs what you think FH is worth later

Would you FH this team? Or take a hit to field 9?

      Areola

      Doughty / Reguillon / Taylor

      Bailey / Son (C)

      Watkins (v)

      Not playing : Johnstone / Ake / Gabriel / Palmer / Saka / Foden / Haaland / Solanke

We have essentially the same team and I'm also thinking the same thing! (see above comment)

I think I am now leaning towards FH, but mostly because the person who is top of my main mini league is 30 points ahead of me in second place, and looking at their team, they are almost certainly going to FH. If I don't play it, they're only going to extend their advantage.

Poor logic. Unless your team is a total mess, your gain is in 10-20pt region. Play the FH in dgw34 to gain 7-8 extra doublers and easily exceed the 20pts ceiling.

you cant say that for sure re 20 point ceiling. theres times ive played a FH in a double ive removed at least one SGW player who outscores 2 or 3 of the doublers. a FH forces you do you t o do that. addes to that theres so much time by then for people who dont have FH's to still have great teams in 34. and those who will play their BB .

Yup. Especially if you look at the specific "7-8 extra doublers" in 34 who are replacing Salah/Saka/Son/Haaland etc. I've tinkered with a FH34 team with 11 doublers & didn't like the look of it

Best attack moving forward from GW30

      A)
Playing 343 usually with the option of rotating in Garnacho
      1.7itb

      Salah, Saka, Foden, Palmer, Garnacho
      Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

      B)Playing 352 almost exclusively
      0.7itb

      Salah, Saka, Foden, Plamer, Son
      Haaland, Solanke, Muniz

      Essentially

      Watkins + Garnacho v Son + Muniz

As somebody on FH29 then I would dearly love Watkins to be out just for this Weekend simply because all those not on a FH are bound to own him and not have Subs whereas my Carlton Morris auto sub in my 3-5-2 formation will get me a massive extra 2 points.

Not using my free hit this week and will wildcard in 30.

Going to do Solanke to Toney for free to field 11.

Would you take -4 to do Gordon to Maddison? I would bench one of my defenders, who could be some security if Watkins or Reguilon miss out.

      A) Take the hit for Maddison
      B) Just do Toney

      Areola
      Doughty Kabore Reguilon Cash Robinson

5th midfield spot in the likes of Kudus/Bailey/Elanga/MGW (352) feels more exciting than Morris (343) on FH

CHO seems to get good mins when he starts. Elanga has better xG and xA per 90 data

Agreed haven't liked any 343 draft myself. Would play 361 if I could

was not planning to FH in 29 but may end up with 5 + 1 ft
      Areola
      Doughty, Emerson*
      Son, Bowen, Barkley,
      Watkins*

      what to do
      a. Use FT and a hit on attacker to get 7
      b. FH

Who are the planned transfers this GW if you savw FH? What's the chip strategy beyond 29? Also post your full team including blankers to see who you could potentially sell.

WC played in 27, only FH left, 1ft
          Areola/Neto
          Daughty, Enerson*/(Gabriel, Saliba, Smith)
          Barkley, Son, Bowen/(Palmer, Saka)
          Watkins*,/(Haaland, Solanke)

Its all about my main ML where Im second atm and everyone around me will play their FH, chip strategy - better planning ahead

Given Watkins and Emerson are ok to start was planning to do just Solanke to Muniz, and bowen to Salah straight swap in 30

Ideally would want to keep FH for 34/37.

Not sure who you could sell to setup long term and bring in Spurs (only team that has a fixture in 29 and double later). I like the Muniz/Salah combo.

just search up Ben Crellin. He has the sheets available but I'd wait until next week to start planning since this weekends FA cup fixtures will play a huge role

I think I'll do Estu, Saka to Porro, Son (-4) which gives me:
      Flekken
      Doughty Porro
      Son Barkley Luiz
      Watkins Toney

Any of these worth another -4?
      A) Foden to Madison
      B) Foden to Bowen
      C) Semenyo to Munoz
      D) Semenyo to Fofana

Very difficult to give an answer without knowing how you plan to navigate GWs beyond 29 and what chips you have left

Was trying to keep it simple, but fair enough. I have my WC but have enough money itb to bring in Salah for Barkley in 30 and Haaland for Watkins in 31

Maddison fits the bill with a double later and doesn't impact when to WC

I'd rather do Saka -> Maddison. I'd rather have Solanke against Everton in gw30 than Saka against City when Maddison is playing Luton.
