The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Third Round Draw

This evening we reveal the managers who have made it through to the third round of the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

For this latest contest there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

Last year’s winner I Casillas Winning’s score of 55 saw him overcome Tufs to set up a round three clash with Allezlechef. Just 10,000 places separates this pair in the overall rankings.

Gribude is another former cup holder to make it through. He beat Allgonepozzo in round two and faces Cok3y5murf next.

Ex-champ MCH also progresses, after seeing off Shem Bayley. He takes on community regular Rhinos in round three.

Sadly, the second round marked the end of the road for another former winner, Ninja Fit Saints, who was beaten 70-49 by Jurgen.

The highest scoring manager of the round and recipient of a £30 FanDuel credit was DaJoeyNdo Show, whose sensational score of 95 left Stoorey’s tally of 40 for dust and saw him leap from 346,603rd in the overall rankings to 57,443rd.

Teguh D Puncak, who he faces next, is unlikely to be worried though as he sits more than 50,000 places higher within the top 5,000.

The four next high scoring managers, who all receive a £10 FanDuel credit, were Captainjpd, Delt_eple, DJDave1979 and Dogba.

Andy85wsm, the competition’s only Scoutcast representative to make it past the first round, marches on. He beat Lardy to set up a third round tie with Anuliz.

Two other members of our moderator and contributor team also make it through. Greenwindmill will face Archie, while Stilicho squares up to lowlifegimpe in round three.

Other notable match ups in the next round include Lateriser12’s encounter with The TinMan, Parm’s tie with TommyJ and What the Fans Say community article writer Bolivian Seaman’s clash with Al Fresco.

The manager to draw the short straw in round three is 433,854 ranked Malvern Angells. He faces Dempele, who at 177th is the highest placed manager remaining in the tournament.

The second round results can be found via this link, while the full third round draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

Not watching it (yet) but every time I see him he looks fast, tricky, sees a pass. Should be starting every game now.

He will if he keeps this up.. right now he is very much a first 11 starter.. Tony did himself the world of good tonight too.. we have options which is fantastic and playing some great football.. unfortunately it may be a little late to for a respectable league finish but if we can continue to gel this together from now till the end and add a trophy of some sort i would be happy..

You have him, Martial, Rashford. Loads of pace. I love Mata so him in the no 10 with Mkh and one of the other two would be good. Only problem is that means Pogba goes deep. You can't play em all though can you? Media are like 'why is Mkh not playing, why is Martial not playing'. When they do its then 'why is Rashford not playing why is Rooney not playing'. Can't win

Exactly. Someone has to miss out. Not seen tonight yet but we played with more pace on Sunday than I've seen for ages. Least we put the chances away tonight

So you think MU are gonna score 6 in their next 7? I'm not a MU fan but even I'm not that ignorant especially with the fixtures they've got coming up.

Seen it coming for weeks, they have been so unlucky. The amount of chances they get each game is insane. The goals are gonna start going in soon.

Plus MKH looks fit now as well as Martial all providing service to Ibra. Could go on a Chelsea run imo

What I was saying above, whoever is out the press ask why that is. We can only play 11. If Martial plays chances are Rashford doesn't. Mata/Rooney/Mkh...at least one of those misses out. I think the press think its a 15 a side game

Not the greatest, but from an attack perspective, Everton aren't good defensively and Palace just conceded 5 goals to Swansea. Spurs capable of letting a goal in as are WBA. After that, it's Sunderland at Old Trafford (though maybe Moyesy will get revenge).

Good win, West Ham pretty poor though. Payet seemed to have his thoughts elsewhere.

You think that will be the first choice team then? Something along the lines of....

          Ibra
          Martial Mata Mkhi
          Pogba Herrera/Carrick

It's the team I would pick. Who knows what Jose will do.

Mata still brings a lot more to the table than Rooney and i believe Jose knows that now too

This is a man that benched Carrick and Schweinsteiger for Fellaini as a pivot. Presume nothing. 😉

Aguero, Lukaku & Coutinho are all gone.

Kane(c), Ibra and Hazard all installed for Xmas. Big rank climb incoming! 🙂
