FFS Cup

FFS Cups – Results and Quarter-Final Draws

We take some time this evening to find out who has made it through to the quarter-finals of our two Premier League cup competitions.

Topping the bill among the last eight ties is a Live Hall of Fame top ten derby between Mark, whose rank of 297 makes him the highest-placed remaining manager, and the 423-ranked My Pretty Pony (aka Peter Kouewenberg). While Mark has the rank advantage, Peter’s second placing in the Live Hall of Fame, compared to Mark’s sixth spot, could see him prevail.

Choppers13, who conquered Patio Kev in round five, takes on Team Fosu-Mensah, who is at 3,474 – 2,506 places behind his top 1,000-ranked opponent.

The third quarter-final looks likely to be another close affair, with Sleepysi ranked just 960 behind 1,192-placed Fouad Khan.

Given the current rank of the other six managers through, both 364,588-placed K3lviN and 229,821-ranked The Shaman will be breating a sigh of relief as they face each other in a clash of the competition’s lowest-ranked remaining managers by some distance.

The full quarter-finals draw can be found here.

Choppers13 is the Members cup’s highest ranked-manager – and the only one still in both competitions. He has, on the face of it, a far easier tie in the Members cup, when he takes on 132,642-ranked Barwood.

The giant-killing exploits of 46,996-placed rogerbarton have taken him into the quarter-finals. Fresh from seeing off an 88th-ranked Pukka in round four, Roger defeated 20,109-placed Dr Ennet in the final 16 to set up an encounter with aspern, another higher- ranked manager, who sits in 12,763,

Cheltnamshire lalala, who currently sits at 3,056 and defeated community writer Kryten in the last 16, will square up to 59,241-ranked Malaikat Jahad.

Elsewhere, 13,579-placed Dynamic is the favourite in his quarter-final tie with Thecrystalball, who is the contest’s lowest-ranked manager at 171,998.

The full quarter final round draw can be found here.

There is £350 in Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk vouchers up for grabs for the final top three managers in both tournaments.

Good luck to all those involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes, click this link.

you can say the same about any other enabler (capue, Ndidi, Kante, Big Vic, Carroll), so why not to save money and go big in defence?

Defensive mids are more likely to get a yellow than an assist 🙂 ...and most enablers are just that.

I think that Nacho is not 100% nailed. switch to 4 in the back means rotation threat from Gibbs

Hi - can I get a RM WC please. BB is 37 and 1.1 ITB

    Caballero, Pickford
    Alonso, Gabriel, Yoshida, Stpehens, Holebas
    Sane, Sanchez, Hazard, King, Ali
    Kane, Jesus, Anichebe

Could take Monreal instead of Gabriel, don't really like Anichebe but needs must

I have a 14 pt lead with wildcard active and bench boost in 37
rival has a bench boost (he doesnt have active players on bench) and triple captain

worried that hes going to get a massive score from his tc in 37 as Kane, Sanch, Haz and Jesus are all potentially great options. he has a weak bench plus he has walker, valencia and rashford in his starting 11 who are severe rotation risks surely

I have Gabriel from WC last week. I'm expecting to need to trade before 37 for a hit

Gabbiadini is tempting, but Southampton's bad form, tough fixtures, short rests and rotation are kind of enough reasons to think of avoiding, which leaves money to upgrade elsewhere.
    What is your opinion?

Gabbi is not even an option for me. Surprised so many are bringing him in. Prefer to get vardy and have cheap 5th mid

Not a good pick. It's the 2 games that's making you consider him

im forced into having him as mini league rival has him. puel under pressure and think hes the most nailed soton attacker still though. fans boo'd when he was subbed off the other day so unless puel is really stubborn he should play a lot

His PPG prior to Hull was over 6 points, so up there with Kane and co.

Probability wise, he delivers some attacking returns over the 4 fixtures . It's a long enough period that if they play poorly in 2 then Puel can change it and maybe have them playing well in the final 2. We just don't know.

As someone who captained Benteke, I feel happier having Gabbi now than I did Benteke.

I think a few are saying he's not worth getting because they can afford Kane, Costa, Jesus. That doesn't make Gabbi a bad pick at all.

    37 points between 1st and 10th.
    Most still have 2 chips.
Only 4th has a WC which is probably being used this week.

Costa to score 2 or more goals this week 3.3. That's one of the best odds I've seen on that sort of line recently. But of course I'm going to stick the TC on Sanchez and pray for an assist.

Went off him when I read the Chelskie fans opinion of him vs Everton and reports of Conte and him ignoring each other at the end
