Happy New Year From Fantasy Football Scout

Drawing breath before Gameweek 22 rolls in – I wish you Happy New Year from myself and all at Fantasy Football Scout.

As usual, I want to extend a huge thanks to all of you for the support you have given myself, the team and the site over the past year.

I wish I could spend more time being active and be more hands-on with the community, but that is very much one of my resolutions for 2018.

It will be a major focus for myself and Fantasy Football Scout over the next twelve months. We will be focusing development effort and new resource on it to, hopefully, enhance your experience. As a result, I plan to be “in and around” you guys more often.

Next, I thank all those who contribute to helping me produce and run the site.

To Paul and the editorial team for all their tireless effort in writing our words on the site and for our partners. To Jonty and the moderators who volunteer their time to keep the community running – I look forward to helping them more in the year to come.

And to Granville, Andy, Az and Luke who have joined me in growing the popularity of the ScoutCast over the past year. Episode two hundred and forty-five is next, which just seems bizarre.

I would also like to thank Ed and our new recruit Mat – our technical team behind the scenes who have been so vital yet again in taking things forward and keeping us running. We have further development work in test, and it really excites me to be working with them on realising our plans for 2018.

Next, I want to thank my family and what is left of my friends outside of Fantasy Football. Particularly my fiancé, Pip, and my two children who still stick around while I shut myself off each weekend and night after night. I don’t know how much longer they will tolerate me, but I’m so glad that they do.

Thanks again for sharing my passion and for choosing our pages to feed it and voice your opinions.

Many thanks again and Happy New Year to you and your families.

    1) Have I got the team right and bench order? If not what advice pls
    2) Is getting rid of Jones and DDG to fund Very and another GK say Courtois, Pickford or Ederson madness? It would be -8 so I guess yes!
    3) Got Saleh for 9m so getting rid of him and Jones for Very and Eriksen for -8 and a loss of cash is short term madness too as I know I will want Saleh back so I will probably lose 0.3 to 0.5m right?

      It basically says "Poch didn't say anything about Kane".

      Has to be Kane due to recent form and obvious dgwk reasons.

      But his recent man flu has put me off the triple Captaincy.

      Also swerved the free hit chip as have spent the last two weeks planning my moves. Plus I think gwk 31 could be carnage due to cup games.

      Morata>Kane(TC) done. I'm 100 points or so ahead in my ML where plenty have already used the chip so I would like to level the playing field up and get it used. There's no guarantee of two games in a DGW later in the season with European fixtures, FA cup etc. I'm using it now then have freehit for the blank weeks and the usual DGW/BB scenario for the DGW34/37 to concentrate on!

      Toying with Kane TC. he's theoretically a gift in that he is our most explosive asset and doesn't get rested. And he's found form. And those fixtures!

      If he gets a couple in just one game he'll match my TC Aguero output from last season.

      Looks like a no-brainer tc to me: fixtures, form, rampant and rested spurs; tired and understrength Swansea (Naughton out); and even more tired and possibly understrength wh playing on Wembley pitch //// Just this little cold .... but nearly a week off and Panadol allowed!

      Llorente has hardly played this season even when spurs were hammering opponents: Stoke and Southampton for example. Pocc will wrap the game up before taking Kane off, assuming he starts!

            Yea I'm Triple captaining him simply because I think he plays both, and scores a lot of points. Form, fixtures, best striker in the league, what more can you want from a triple captain.

    Someone link to the site that analyzed that Kane's Twitter pic was taken at his grandparents house quite far from his own and normally he goes there only on days off. Hence he might not play against Swansea?
