Fantasy Premier League Launch day is here and ScoutCast duo Joe and David have produced our first ever summer broadcast to offer their initial thoughts on the game and the prices.

Early doors, they couldn’t stop themselves from asking the big question: ‘Should we have Mohamed Salah in our teams when he costs £13.0m?’ You’ll have to listen in to find out their feelings on that.

Elsewhere, the reclassification of key attacking players has altered early strategies while the pair also name their over-priced assets before picking out some potential bargains.

Finally, they stick their necks out by declaring the three premium players likely to make their Gameweek 1 line-ups.

    Back to World cup fantasy....i'm considering swapping Lukaku out for Neymar as one of my 3 transfers.Am i mad ? My other strikers are Grizeman and Kane and i have Coutinho.Cheers.

          Nice. Alonso burnt me too many times last year, think I’m swerving him initially.

          I’ve gone with TAA over Robertson. He should be nailed right?

          I fancy giving Mendy a go, but just can’t see how he is nailed. You got any info to go off?

            Nathaniel Clyne is back from injury so TAA is not nailed on. Robertson however is.

      But probably Hernandez, because he has better assist potential (Maguire is all foreplay no finish)

      I think wait and see how he lines up in the friendlies. Have a weird feeling he will get rotated a lot with Gundogan this year but maybe not

      They’ll have a lot of rotation in midfield with Silva, KDB, Fernandinho, Gundogen and likely Jorginho as options. I’d avoid Silva.

      He was good when he filled in, so he should play some part but I guess pre-season will tell and Stephens/Yoshi and the other guy (?) are main pairing?

        That's what I'm afraid of. Priority is 13 or 14 guaranteed starters with maybe one enabler to make up the numbers. Finding it hard to find 14 quality players for £87m!

    Didn’t Pep say something about him not playing Mendy and Sane together?

    I’d probably say Sane is more nailed over Mendy, am I missing something?

    Do you reckon they haven't released a price for Mitrovic yet because they're waiting to see what happens with his transfer to Fulham (or Palace)? Can't justify making him more than 5.0m if he stays at Newcastle, but would be a bargain for that price if he comes back to the whites.

        I certainly wouldn't want us to pay £30m for him. Make no mistake, he was absolutely pivotal to the way we played in that 23-game unbeaten stretch, but for us to pay £30m who, yes has proved he fits into our team at a Championship level, but hasn't exactly set the world alight on the Premier League stage, would be absurd.

        I'd be content if we paid between £15-20m for him, but I fully expect us to be priced out by Mike Ashley. I'd rather spend that money on sorting out a centre-back partner for Tim Ream and a new left-back!

      I would have thought so. he looked value at 7.5 but tbh I havent' really seen him play and there will be rotation in that midfield
