FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of international break

It’s that time of the week again when we give you the chance to put your questions to our panel of Fantasy Premier League managers.

However, the talking points shift a little bit this time as we head into the first international break of the season.

We’ve assembled another panel of three Fantasy managers this week and will be bringing you a different set for each Gameweek over the course of the season. They are here to answer any questions you might have relating to the international break.

James Egersdorff – You can’t get much more experienced than this man when it comes to FPL. After yet another season inside the top 5,000 managers in 2017/18, James now sits top of the Fantasy Football Scout ‘Hall of Fame’.

    One minute it's Pedro, next it's Walcott, then it's Mkhit. This is the nature of the modern game.

    Could there be anything more tedius to read or that spells one out as an absolute amateur bellend of the highest order than the mid-gameweek 'I told you so's'.

      To be fair I thought it was weird that certain mkhi owners were pretending he wasn't a rotation risk when he clearly was

        yeah, I got him last week knowing Ozil was out for that game - but I was fully prepared for a potential benching today (hoped not though obviously). Ramsey and Ozil are just better players, it's as simple as that - should have got Pedro, but the same issue exists - maybe Maddison is the one...?

            I very nearly did Pedro and would be more than happy to keep him (annoying) … but Maddison could keep ticking along with those fixtures, think I might like the upside of Pedro more maybe

          there are no nailed players, and you wont know how nailed until the end of the season stats

            You can make educated guesses like competition for places and how good the player is

    How about make some more polls (not only captain) with most asked questions every week?
    Last week it would be: "Richarlison replacements" and "Play WB or Bou attacker".
    This week it would be "Alonso in for a hit?" or "Is Salah worth keeping?" or "Salah -> Hazard if I own Mane?" etc.

    Maybe it would cause less questions repeating on every page every, single day?

      The problem is that when people have chosen their big hitters, the only discussion is which bad players should we bring in. When actually the question should be looking at big hitters - hazard is back in form

      Questions like A,B or C are like polls anyway so people could stright send people who ask to poll.
      This could also long term cause more discuss about why player A or B (discussion) than just "pick one" question.

        Calm down for a sec before you do anything hasty. I'm in a pickle myself, but know for earlier mistakes that doing transfers in the heat of the movement rarely work out for the better. Get to the drawing board, you will find a way!

          The drawing board currently looks like Auba>Mitrovic and Mkhi/Walcott > Hazard. Not owning Arsenal assets for those fixtures might backfire, but they don't deliver. Wish I could have taken my "Arsenal glasses" off before considering any of them.
