FPL managers expect win and clean sheet for Man United against Newcastle

Paul Pogba (£8.1m) will be the Fantasy Premier League focus of Saturday’s late kick-off, amid rumours over manager Jose Mourinho’s future.

The Manchester United midfielder is the most popular player in the fixture as Newcastle United visit Old Trafford. He is currently in 14.7% of squads.

He recently overtook Romelu Lukaku (£11.0m) whose ownership suffered from the switch to Harry Kane (£12.5m) for Gameweek 8, who blanked in a 1-0 win over Cardiff.

Meanwhile, there will be interest in the Man United defence with Newcastle’s recent struggles in front of goal.

David De Gea (£5.9m) remains the most fashionable Red Devil defensive asset, in 19.8% of squads, but Luke Shaw (£5.1m) may prove the more effective.

He has 10.5% backing from the Fantasy community and looks like he could also pull in some attacking returns.

Newcastle are still a club for the Fantasy hipsters, with no player boasting more than Joselu‘s (£5.0m) 4.8%. However, the striker has not started the match with Ayoze Pérez (£6.1m) and Yoshinori Muto (£5.7m) preferred up front.

MANCHESTER UNITED XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Shaw, Smalling, Bailly, Young; Matic, McTominay; Martial, Pogba, Rashford; Lukaku

NEWCASTLE UNITED XI (4-4-2): Dubravka; Manquillo, Fernandez, Lascelles, Yedlin; Kenedy, Diamé, Shelvey, Ritchie; Pérez, Muto.

Thanks. Not sure I want to double up on Pool defense. Not that they won't get clean sheets, but a Mane might be better vfm with the upcoming fixtures.

    Kane(C) 2, Lamela 1, Shaw 0!, Smalling 1, Hart 2, vardy 2

My worst gw in 9 years! Playing free hit!

Original team- wilson 14, patricio/ryan- 9, 3 extra players tmrw.

it was a calculated risk, not a casual decision to play free hit. i expected manu to keep cleanie, spurs to score atleast 3 goals. burnley to keep a cleanie.

it was not much about spurs or manu form. it was more the miserable form of cardiff, newcastle & huddersfield i stacked up on tot, manu & 2 burnley players. Gudmonsen my highest scorer with 7 pts.

Chillax bruh! Played my FH too, I brought in Lamela and Kane Hart Arnie Maddisson though I probably knew Lamela wouldn't start. Had Gudmanson on the bench but Pocch decided to bring him in late on. It's not the end of the world, just focus on the coming gw no need to cry over spilt milk. There always these weird gw that are so unpredictable. This is one of them.

Whatever you people might think of Mourinho , but to do what he did as a manager, today , when all the chips were down , 0-2 down , at home , with all the fans booing , woodward in the stands , all the falling out with players , talk of a sack around the corner , the decisions he made this game were Truly WORLD CLASS . Taking out bailly at quarter of an hour , getting in fellaini at HT for mctominay , and changing his mind at the last minute to take off Rashford (who was missing plenty) instead of Martial (who eventually scored) .
To manage all the egos and all the pressure to win that match .
    Seriously Hats off .

A lot of points on the bench this week, my own fault with Wilson, just fancied knockaert to do well and thought Fraser had a better chance of linking in with any goals scored and would hopefully 'cover' Wilson if he did well. Not the case.

No wasn't interested for just one game and 2 transfers/hit.

Just in from taking the SAT, so hadn’t seen any scores til now.

-That is ROUGH for people who got Kane for a hit for this week. Unlucky. Trippier points though!
-Keep it ticking over Fraser, there’s a good lad.
-Fairplay to anyone who kept King this long, you deserve those points
-Matt Doherty is actually a good. God bless you, Irishman.
