Which Spurs players are worth owning in FPL this season?

Tottenham Hotspur players are causing some Fantasy Premier League managers dilemmas at the start of the season.

They have a favourable opening fixture at home to Aston Villa but with a trip to Manchester City in Gameweek 2 and relatively expensive price points, their assets could be the ones to miss out on those initial teams.

However, there are some encouraging reasons to own some of Mauricio Pochettino’s players at the start of the new campaign.

In this article we assess Spurs’ defensive and attacking potential based on last season’s underlying statistics.

As this analysis uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

        NKetiah probably won’t start but he’s shown good preseason form and could be first back up for Laca/Auba - he’s mainly in because he’s 4.5m and there’s not a lot of interest at that price - Greenwood & Wickham the other contenders @ 4.5m.

        Yeah he is!

        Interestingly enough, he only had 1 pen last season (and scored it) Watford will probably have more pens this season. Not just due to VAR, but because having 1 pen is very unlucky in a season.

            Deulofeu is definitely the better footballer but:

            Deeney = 90 min player on pens
            Deulo = 60-75 min player, who's also an injury doubt and is competing with an inform Gray.

            Deulofeu also scored 7 of his 10 goals last season against HUD/CAR who aren't in the prem anymore.

            Nothing wrong with B but I just think Wilson is going to be much better than King this year. For your team structure it would be better to pick B. Three low priced midfielders is not optimal.
