Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the big success stories of last season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive side finishing seventh in their first Premier League campaign in six years.

The West Midlands club offered Fantasy managers some notable bargain buys, with Matt Doherty (£6.0m), Diogo Jota (£6.5m) and Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) the three stand-out assets.

Doherty, Jimenez and several others have been handed price rises in Fantasy Premier League this summer, however, and aren’t quite the cut-price gems they were 12 months ago.

      I thought about him but having City away is a problem. Although he may score its more likely that he wouldn't. Assuming he gets 9 pts in the first game and 2 in the second, I am sure there are cheaper alternatives that can match/outscore him.

      Because not many people have Kane, Sterling and Salah...

      and of the three if one has to go - Kane.

      It'll be a different decision for different people, no wrong answer.

      (Yes you can have all three but the sacrifices elsewhere make it a poor option IMO).

          Have you gone for all three big-hitters?

          For me all the real value of pounds to points is with the midfield and defence options.
          It's very hard to take advantage of that with Kane, Salah and Sterling.

          If you have to drop one... it's hard to not pick Kane (even if he's a good price).

          If one of Salah/Sterling was injured - 90% of teams would have Kane.

              Not for me, one of the best Kane/Sterling/Salah sides I've seen, truly.

              It's just not as good as a lot of the Sterling/Salah sides I've seen, IMO.

              It's all personal taste though.

      Having 3 premium attackers is not viable so must have had to choose between Sterling and Kane assuming Salah is essential.
      Sterling looks the better choice and should have better returns than Kane over the opening weeks. I think most are waiting for a budget midfielder to emerge and then this will allow funds to upgrade in attack later on and jump on Kane/Auba if they are playing well.

    I know the vast majority are on a 4.5 keeper but I’ve been on Ederson for a while.

    Best to use the money on upgrading a 5.0 midfielder to a 6.5 or will Ederson outscore them?

          You have Vardy. Perhaps stick to Ederson... Very close call. Perez will rise more in price than Vardy (cheaper, underpriced) and their first fixtures aren't all nice. Therefore I have only Perez.
