The FPL line-up lessons we learned from Gameweek 6

We take our regular look back at the Premier League line-ups from the weekend just gone, analysing the systems and personnel used by the 20 top-flight clubs and seeing what lessons could be learned ahead of Gameweek 7.

As was the case last week, we are harnessing the use of the average position maps in our Members’ Area and highlighting some of the key stats from each game.

The figures in brackets given after each player name in the article below correspond to the numbered shirts in the position maps.

Members can read on for further analysis, while those wishing to subscribe can still do so by clicking here – memberships cost the equivalent of £2.19 a month for the remainder of 2019/20 and a video of the benefits can be accessed here.

Tammy home to Brighton. Haller didn't look like scoring even against a pitiful United side. Do it.

Zaha to Mount or keep Zaha.

Why do I own Zaha?? Wildcarded him in for GW6 as a differential with two decent home games on paper.

    Maguire > TAA

Need to do the first to afford the second. Alternative is:

Could sit tight but Abraham keeps going up and it frees up 2m.

        1. MTPockets
            4 years, 7 months ago

Think a goal's more likely than a cs but agree on goal fest.

Could easily bite me on the proverbial.

I’m quite torn. Just look at that Chelsea fixture run. Abraham’s ownership up to 30% plus TAA looking essential.

Barkley not on pens anymore anyway. All signs point to avoid that cramped Chelsea midfield

Yeah Barkley is in flying form and Lampard said he's the man on pens.

Can't believe more on here aren't bigging him up, Mount is on borrowed time!

Thats a great deal, fielding 12 players is a decent advantage which could add up over the season. Dont think I can bring in Mount then if thats true.

Yes, Frank’s been given special dispensation to play both CHO and Barkley whenever he rests Mount.

Atleast he made the bench, got to look at the positives. Salah didn't even make the squad at MK Dons. Fancy Ki-Jana Hoever to keep him on the sidelines, especially with his goal tonight

Zero if we dare believe their assistant manager. Sounds shifty though I am yet to do a background check on his reliability as a source for now

KDB but feel Son might be heading for a few decent returns over next 3 games.

                  Cantwell.

I think son scores more in next 3 but we shall see, esp goals... I have Son over DeBruyne but can get back GW10 if needed as I feel with SoT Bright Wat up next Son has 2 potential C options...
