Fantasy Football Scout’s very own Mark Sutherns has been discussing his latest Fantasy Premier League (FPL) team draft with video regular Andy North over on our YouTube channel.

Mark explains his 3-5-2 set-up, premium midfielder choices and omission of Bruno Fernandes (£12.5m).

Andy throws his own selections under the spotlight, explaining his preference for a 3-4-3 and inclusion of Harvey Barnes (£7.0m).

      Yeah, I thought about getting one of their defenders, but they have Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, and Tanganga, so we don't know which one will start. I assume Romero will be 5.0.

        that will be proven in the season ahead. White has PL experience. Also, Romero whilst class at Atlanta for a couple of seasons was never seen good enough for Juve. So will be interesting to see how he adapts when he is under the spotlight again

    Question: how much stock do you put in RMT numbers?

    My favourite team is only coming out at 329 whereas a naff, IMO, team can come in as high as 355.

        Agree and torn between getting Amartey for short term ( if flops could soon be 3.9 m) or Livramento who I think if gets game for first 11 will keep place and good op for season. Young player of year at Chelsea who did not want him to go to Southampton

      I have a very similar dilemma. I think people are overrating Arsenal and Leeds defenders. Don't see either keeping clean sheets

    Hmmm I have Ait-Nouri currently but knew he'd have competition in Marcal / Jonny (in his return) and others depending on formation but figured he might break through but if Amartey looks like he'll get a few games maybe it's a better shout, he'll be my third sub anyway and likely to WC in GW4 or so. Doesn't sound like Mahrez looked too hot today though which is a little worrying, wonder if moving to Gundogan while KDB is out is a better move.

    Also wondering if I ought to ditch Havertz for GW1 with the aim of getting Lukaku in earlier. Havertz was one of the first players in my first draft but I knew if a striker joined that'd change. Lukaku playing GW1 is still unlikely I'd imagine but I'm wondering if just getting ahead with the move is better.

        At the minute that's exactly what I have. Realistically I'd be doing that and then downgrading Salah after Burnley to someone like Sancho for Lukaku if I want him but that could bite me in the behind. Guess I'll see how quick Lukaku looks like he'll start training and whether he'll quarantine or not and see if anything else pops up with my team
