I think stepping in front of a player purely to draw contact should not be a foul. At some point, it could even be a foul in the other direction for obstructing the opponents movement toward the ball. There' a subtle difference (a continuum even) between shielding the ball in possession and drawing contact, and I'm not convinced Eriksen was far enough on the side of the former.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm not seething in anger about it, but I think it's borderline, and always going to be given to United. 😀
