Define close though, regardless of leaks or not I generally do my transfers 30 mins before the deadline..you cannot have a website crash 20 odd mins before the deadline

When I participate in this game I expect that I could fix my team up until the deadline. I could show mercy if its like 5 minutes, but this stopped me from playing more this season.
