Yes, that's my worry, Brighton seem to have a lot of rotatable players and with Europe this year too... I've also vowed to pick a more 'nailed' team (see below) this year but can't blame people being tempted at that price.

Seems to be leading the line with welbeck and on pens - of course it could come crashing down but there’s extra extra time to be had too

I imagine he starts or comes on most games, been their best player, Mitoma is so wasteful, cost an extra million and could get less minutes too this season.

He's a club record signing I think so wouldn't think that a club like Brighton would pay that much for him to spend most of his time on the bench?

Disasi is going to share minutes a lot, especially initially. Colwill probably a safer pick and cheaper

Colwill at 4.5m has to be worth buying with those fixtures. Due to injuries, he's their only LCB option (afaik).

You can bench him at that price too.

I'm definitely not wasting a wildcard on him.

I was very happy to go only one premium and probably will, but people pointing out that matches will likely be longer this season with the extra injury team and Salah usually one of the players less likely to get subbed (or at least much closer to the end) does add to the temptation to put him in too.

Or, they have accepted that he’s going to haul from time to time and they’re gonna miss out on it, but they are confident that the other players they were able to get with the freed up funds from not having Salah will compensate that.

I suspect their thinking lies in one of those two camps..

I looked at it but the Wildcard option seemed way too messy to me.
Looking at what I would be transferring out and Liverpool's very mixed fixtures after gw2 I am not sure it is worth it.
There is always the option of getting another forward/midfielder or even TAA further down the line.

I dumped Jackson for Watkins on the back of the news. But at the same time I realised that it suddenly makes Mudryk an option FPL wise at 6.5m

I have number 1 exactly, but then I also have J. Pedro as my third striker. My view is that it's almost necessary to have 3 Arsenal players for the first 3 GWs so I would always choose 1. That said, 2 is for sure viable.

Decent, although don't get the VVD pick myself.

Bench isn't strong but guess you know that!

Disregarding the Haaland issue, I actually like this draft a lot, with the one exception of VVD. It's a decent spread of players while keeping the 2 premium options of Kane and Salah. Personally I'd probably just downgrade VVD to someone like Chilwell and do Maddison > Martinelli.

I like it, and can alway WC early if needed. VVD not so sure about though, feels like better options.

I also thought Bowen, but think I'm going to roll the dice on Diaby instead

Triple premium is not a good idea.

Likely have some starts/mins issue with Ensico and Garnacho. All depends on the combinations of players e.g. Kane and Enciso vs Watkins and Rashford

Feels like any no Haaland team should have Kane, Salah, Rash, and Saka to make sure you have the other high-owned premiums(ish), but definitely a lovely squad. Personally would downgrade Trippier to Shaw/Stones/Chilwell to go Bruno to Rash and Martinelli to Saka.

Which team is this ? Will you have Haaland in the other 39 ?
