    Bruno 10m --> 8.5m
    Sterling 10m --> 7m
    Bowen 8.5m --> 7m

Three midfielders who are showing promising signs that they might possibly be about to justify how they were initially priced at the start of last season (both Bruno & Sterling were 12m players before that). If you had all three, that theoretically boost your teams value by 6m+ if they keep on going in the right direction. That's not to be sniffed at.

      • 6 Years

When season started I wad unhappy about "kind" pricing of most of the players but have to say that actually this may be the key to breaking the template.
People can build squads without the same playing budget picks(like Lundstram or AWB in the past), and also the TV is not important so people are more likely to let go of players and move on to new ones.

      1. Eze Really?
        • 10 Years

It solves 2 problems with FPL Towers.
Making the game easier to play with new managers.
As you said, spreading the template, but I fear it might not last as long as expected with Pool and Newcastle coming ito the frame.
It has hurt me rather than helped TBH.
Get rid of captaincy because the rewards are too big.
        Be transparent with price changes.

I'm a big fan of removing the captaincy as this will force us to focus on every player, every point.
          Literally every point would matter.
Now good captain and 10 poor performances may match bad\unlucky captain and 10 decent performances.

Did a -8 yesterday :-), Yes Im maverick, but my FPL history shows Im playing well. Had Shaw in my team who was going down in price and I didnt like my defense. With in mind Im on -8 would you hit the WC and do some more changes? I want Onana and Estupinan out.

    Onana (Turner)
    Udogie Gvardiol Chilvell (Estupinan Baldock)
    Saka Embuemo Maddison Foden Sterling
    Jakson Haaland (Osula)

    4.5 in the bank

I want Onana and Estupinan out. Probably a Liverpool mid would also be good.

    B) hit the WC

Crystal Palace will complete the transfer of Dean Henderson soon. That's another transfer out then for Johnstone owners.

I was thinking earlier, how many of the pre-season planners did what they intended to do?

If you didn't have Gabriel or James perhaps you had a chance. But there's so many new opportunities too.

    1. el polako
      • 6 Years

When you buy a City player (other than Ederson and for most of the time Haaland), you accept that they may get benched.
Regardless whether there are rumours flying around or not.

      People still don't get it.

Apparently he didn't travel but he'll play.

Sheffield isn't far, maybe he stayed with his new baby for a reason?

However, these didn't travel rumours when true do usually lead to a benching at best as the situation unfolds.

      1. AC/DC AFC
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

It's just speculation but generally on these things there's no smoke without fire.

Not sure how reliable but as suspected, if he’s travelling alone he most likely will feature or will be there to play if needed (therefore he must be fit enough to play).

This points to an illness being the reason as to staying separate to the rest of the squad. #FPL

Fairly shocked at how bad I've had it so far. This GW has been so bad I almost activated my WC, but then remembered an international break will be upon us after GW4, so decided to see what the brilliant minds here would say... Only done Stones to Chilly for GW2 and Pickford to Sanchez for GW3 up to now.

Sanchez / Macey (thought he'd be 1st choice)
    Trent / Estu / Chilly / Saliba / Baldock
    Salah / Martinelli / Mitoma / Schade / Anderson
    Haaland / Darwin / Pedro

    Thoughts?

Same here, all of the transfers I have had to make so far were due to injuries and Gabriel. The price rises and falls have gone against me too, however, my experience from previous seasons tells me not to make panic moves to catch price movements and rather focus on getting maximum points.

    Pickford

    Saka rashford richarlison Mitoma

Subs - Turner, Beyer, Bell, Baptiste

Do I get rid of rashford & Richy to redistribute across Maddison + another?

Watkins - 2 games, 2 returns plus hattrick in Europe, why you prefer to sell?

I like Jackson more for the next few games cause Watkins has LIV, CRY, CHE all against not that bad defences

I think you're blinded by Chelsea's new toy, good luck.
Not much wrong with your team, seems to me like WC is burning you more than anything else.

You are probably right, I wanted to double up with Sterling but this may go pretty bad

Agree with this. Chilly, Saka, rash, haaland, Alvarez, Watkins mitoma etsu are all great players. Eze’s stats are great. No real need to wc now.

Watkins will score. When he gets one he usually gets two

Reckon getting Bowen for just one game sounds like unjustified transfer?

I think that's the way to play this season, don't worry about TV and pick & mix in midfield depending on form\fixture.

I'm doing that and then moving him for sterling/maddison. I think luton is a team to target as we saw with sterling this week

Bowen looking and West Ham looking sharp in attack. I would play him vs City and LFC tbf

I am truly awful at this game, never listen to my advice, ever, in fact if you do the opposite you'll do pretty well, thank you

Made my moves last nite ik it's risky but would have cost me .2m otherwise

    Front 7 now.

    Saka/Sterling/Foden/Rash/Madds

    Haaland/Watkins

I like it. As I have Chilwell and Jackson I’ll probably go Maddison and Diaz if he returns today as opposed to Sterling. Decided I don’t want triple Chelsea just yet.

Was getting him Friday but opted for Foden instead.

Played Madds even with the flag and udogie. Just hoping Foden turns up today.
