No because I don't have either Pedro or Andreas so I couldn't. Seriously, not bad moves depending on other players on your team, just wait till after international games

Botman if he recovers, Anderson, Digne/Konsa. Henry, Cash, or Udogie if you can get to 4.7.

I really want Son, as I see him as a great differential captain GW5, but I’m 0.1 short of the transfer I was thinking (Foden > son) 🙁

Foden + Saliba to Son + Udogie or Cash. Udogie and Cash both have a good fixture in 5 to match Saliba’s and it’s likely you’ll want one or both of them GW 8 on. Arsenal only has 4 good defensive fixtures between GW 6-18 plus @Everton has been a bogey match for Arsenal.

      Been considering this too.

Not been impressed with Jackson at all and wish I’d gone Alvarez.

However not sure it’s worth a hit. Jackson has a good fixture, and alavarez coming back from long haul flight days before.

      Could backfire easily.

Yeah, that’s close. Think I’d lean Salah + Mbeumo as both have nice fixture runs and are on PK duty. Also, you could use ONE of your midfield 5 spots for Son or Rashford or Saka as they rotate nicely.

If the Bundesliga is a farmer’s league. Why is Haaland smashing the PL & Bellingham finding life easy in Spain? Need a genuine answer because the way I see it PL is becoming a farmer’s league

    1. Andy_Social
      • 11 Years

I don't subscribe to the slur myself, but the idea is Bayern and a handful of also-rans are PL quality and the rest of the league is made up of potless no-hopers.
That shouldn't be the case in the PL with the worst clubs bagging 100M TV money, but given the extent of mismanagement at the likes of Everton and the gulf in wealth between hedge fund/oil state-run clubs and modest outfits like Palace there is a widening gap between aspiring clubs and those just aiming to avoid relegation.

No love for Moussa Diaby? He has almost the same pts as Maddison & the likes. Villa’s fixtures aren’t bad. A wildcard 5 draft without him doesn’t look right to me.

I agree with you, I'm in two minds about that. On the one hand, they have a decent run of fixtures, and Hojlund will surely improve them in attack and maybe Amrabat in defence. On the other hand, they are in a dysfunctional state. I'm currently minded to have one asset - either Bruno or Rashford, but being on a WC, I have the luxury of time to mull it over.

Nobody can really know the impact of poor motivation. It affects some and not others. As good as Ronaldo was, his influence had a terrible influence on general performance. Most players don't really give a damn about others issues. They want as much money for as little effort as possible. FULL STOP.

I wouldn't even consider buying him.

He is getting minutes because Nkunku is injured, but that doesn't make him a goal.sxoring machine like Haaland.

Chelsea has been poor upfront since a while now and after a good pre-season, we all hoped that this could end. Not sure if it will. The Sterling gala a few weeks ago against a very poor opponent was probably the exception.

It looked like they found a good line-uo in pre-season, but due to injuries it didn't work out. Until resolved, I'm even considering selling Chilwell.

Ridiculous the Saudis' have the largest government funded support on the planet. Did people not know they are sponsoring him?

A meeting doesn't mean anything definitive in either direction. I'm actually surprised repressntatives from the club are even there, from what I've read with a lot of these deals it's essentially league and PIF representatives that take control of them, then they decide which of their clubs the player is going to

You're saying it's the chairman of the Premier League who dictates if Salah stays or goes? C'mon, take off your tin-foil dishcloth!

I find it amazing how Newcastle have been the major source of content since the international break started.
Nothing has changed since the start of the season. We all knew we were in the Champion's League
Newcastle have got off to a dodgy start. We all knew there was a chance of this due to fixtures.
Many scared of rotation, especially Trippier, Isak and Wilson. Nothing has changed.
We all expected to have WC doubts regarding Newcastle. Nothing has changed.
Why are so many content creators going on about this? Are they short of content?

Fully agree. Before the season started, they were bottom of the ticker for opening fixtures. On my WC I have Schar and Botman in my draft - the one thing I was expecting to change was Botman to have a price drop, but never mind.
