Anyone do better than having Solanke (C)? Had Salah VC and Mitchell subbing in. Out of cup and probably LMS too.

That’s worst I’ve seen, someone in my league getting palmer off bench for solanke caprisn and Salah vice

      That should not be rewarded

      Unlucky

Player in my ML had Palmer coming in for Solanke. I was lucky enough to get a 3 pointer to come in so lost out there plus played BOU defender as other 2 defenders suspended so no points for that auto sub. Way behind now so may have to concentrate on next season.

Brought in Solanke and Billing (big punt, I know) this week, and had Kabore coming in for Trippier. No subs, now knocked out of the cup.

Still the right decision from FPL though, since they are replaying the game.

        No.

And if you bring in Bowen for the weekend and he is injured in the warm-up you don't either.

And if you bring in Anthony, then just don't expect any points at all.

So I took a minus 4 to get Solanke in

Now lost his 6 points plus 3 baps and my 4 points

Now everyone will have him in for the double game week

      Farce

I think it was stopped in the 62nd minute.

Not 59 but play suspended on the 65.

It's interesting how much variation there is on this.

Following the announcement @afcbournemouth v @LutonTown will be replayed in full at a later date, Gameweek 17 will now be closed and the game will update shortly.

Points achieved by players in the original fixture will be voided. Normal auto-subs and vice-captain rules apply.

    Ridiculous decision.

So I take a -8 in order to field 11 players. Put two Bournemouth players in.
So it's tough luck for me, but wouldn't have been tough luck for people without Bournemouth, having the game replayed? Giving them a chance to get them in for the reply.

    So so stupid.

During COVID I took a -8 to max up on an inform Spurs side who were facing Fulham.

I’d even captained Kane and (stupidly) VC’d Son.

Only for it to be called off with the teams in the dressing rooms.

      It still hurts.

    1. Salarrivederci

Unlucky people sometimes confuses unlucky with unfair.

This is the only fair way to proceed in a game called: 'Fantasy Premier League'.

Tough and harsh for Solanke owners, cappers and buyers through hits and all. We get that.

But if Liverpool - Man U were abandoned due to racist behavior on or off the pitch, lightning bolts near the pitch or a freakin tsunami same thing would have happened, and I would be the unlucky one.

It's a game and i August we have the same 1000 people on hear going on and on and on and on for ages about this game being 90% luck 10% skill. Here you have an incedent that ways heavy in 'camp luck'.

It makes sense to void the points. The game wasn’t completed, and therefore doesn’t count for anything. How should the points count if the match was never completed, but on the contrary will be replayed? It’s massively unlucky, I’ll give you that.

Behave. Where does it end? E.g I did son Solanke in for Haaland Diaz. Can I have my 2 FT’s back….no.

Rival took a -8 brought in 2 BOU and captained Solanke, ended up only fielding 8. Tough luck.

Right decision made by FPL, eventually. Just frustrating it’s a team of sloths running the game.

It’s a bloody game if it affects you that much take a step away, try gambling, enough ads on here like.

Agree! I do not own Solanke and got lucky that the game was wiped and stats not counted. That said, I firmly believe that this is the only logical course that maintains the integrity of the game. The reverse, counting fantasy points for a game that was effectively cancelled, is far less logical.

      Also… minor point, but…
Lockyer went down (and gane was stopped) at 59:12

How they then jumped to 65 is a bit confusing.
He was treated on the field for longer than 5:48 and so the whole 65 mins thing is an oddity.

It's the difference between when the ref blew his whistle and the manager ran on ...

The ref gave time for treatment before the suspension of play when the players were called to the side of the pitch then walked down the tunnel before the match was abandoned.

Rival has Palmer on bench. I took -8 for Solanke and Neto as I had no bench.

        Ridiculously bad decision by FPL

Its not a bad decision by FPL. Its a sensible decision given the events in the game will be as if they never happened.
It is however a bad outcome for some and a good outcome for others. C'est la vie.
If Solanke had pulled up in the warm up with a hamstring injury that would be a similar piece of bad luck.

Solanke owner here, with Gordon off the bench.

Yes because the game was played, with points being scored. No reason the points couldn't stand that were already scored. As per the rules, points can't be changed after the last game. So they've gone against it, exact reason March didn't score last year. They just make it up as they go along.

I'd still say the game should count, the majority of the game was played, with points being scored. My point stands about them changing their own rules. March scored last year, stats says he scored so where we're his points ?

You know well and good what I meant. He had the same scenario in a much more important match in the past, where he was unresponsive, and they finished. But this time around he is responsive, yet they are getting dominated in momentum, and they CHOOSE to abandon it. Let's tell it exactly like it is.
