Gordon - need a player who plays 31 (or play Zabarnyi/Morris)
      Eze - 32 i 33 tough fixures
Mac Allister - very good display last game, is he worth trusting?

What do you think of Garnacho / Paqueta?

    Better combo

    A) Saliba/Diaz
    B) VVD/Odegaard or Havertz

    Currently own
    Arsenal Gabriel/Saka
    Liverpool Salah/Nunez

Big dilemma time! Who to ditch for Salah?

    A) Haaland, Maddison > Nunez, Salah -4
    B) Son, Maddison > Salah, Sarabia -4

If you have a FH for 34 I’d be tempted by A but otherwise B probably slightly ahead

Yes, with no Spurs in 34 I’d def go B. Haaland has been frustrating but he surely returns with Villa ah home followed by Palace, Luton and Brighton. I’d prefer Darwin but Sarabia could be a great pick

Yer it is.. my defence was crap though wanted to change it asap without hits as I think by doing that I can gain alot more points in the near term and close out mini league

Lascelles is out for 6-9 months. I’d worry about Stones minutes and small concern over Alisson returning and Chelsea GK (CS and possible rotation) but , depending on chip strategy, the rest looks good

Lascelles dead, along with Newcastle clean sheets. Stone liable to Peptation.

As always, rest depends on chips.

Any other Haaland owners at a loss as to what to do with him? He was absolutely atrocious yesterday and what Roy Keane said about him on sky is what I've always thought but find difficult to say because of the goals he scores. He's just not a good footballer. His general all round play is often poor. He barely touches the ball and despite being a huge lump, seems incapable of holding the ball up half the time and bringing others into play. In fact even his finishing is quite often poor. It seems that he can't score unless De Bruyne can put the ball on a plate for him for a tap in or close range header.

Comparing his points since gameweek 23 with cheapies Muniz and Mateta is actually quite sickening:

    Muniz (4.7m) - 64pts
    Haaland (14.3m) - 43pts
    Mateta (4.9m) - 37pts

Absolute joke. Ordinarily if we were much earlier in the season I would not own him and make better use of the funds. However the problem I have is that I can't really do anything worthwhile with the extra money. We have a situation right now where the defenders are absolute trash. There is nobody worth over 4.5m worth owning so there is a huge saving of funds there and the value players of the likes of Palmer, Muniz and Solanke etc free up more cash. I have all of Son, Saka, Salah and Haaland and can have an additional either forward or midfielder around the 8m bracket without any issue. So what do we do with Haaland?

Think you have to trust that he's a nailed centre forward for ManCity, and he'll come good.

I'd be tempted by Solanke, Isak, Darwin. But, they're not without their own issues.

Haaland's ownership means high risk/reward, going without.

If Haaland meant I couldn't afford Salah. I'd bin him off, easy. But, I'd imagine most can do both, with Son and Saka as well.

Some players are going without him for similar reasons - you can then afford Salah, Son, Saka and more in midfield, and strong Arsenal/Liverpool defenders. It's a risk vs reward consideration - if Haaland only scores 2-3 goals over the next 7 GWs then it could work well. Another way of looking at it is with the fixtures we have which will score you the most points:

      Haaland & Branthwaite & Garnacho

      Or

      Son & Isak & Saliba?

      They both currently cost 23.6m.

    A. Foden and Darwin

    OR

    B Son and Mateta

Context: I cant keep foden and Son and also get Salah. One has to go. Thanks all 🙂

Also depends when you need him I guess, 32 and 33 are terrible fixtures for Mateta

    Lots selling Foden.

Not sure its a good idea with the fixtures they have. I know, City always big rotation risk. But at his price, its hard to ditch him.

If you want a player at specifically Foden's price, he's a great option. Quite a niche requirement though. Probably not too relevant for most.
