FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 37

Fantasy managers can now bring their end-of-season dilemmas to another Question Time panel.

With just two Gameweeks left of the 2018/19 season, many are looking to dot the Is and cross the Ts of their campaigns.

Meanwhile, others are hoping to soar up the rankings with one last desperate punt.

To help you with your plans, we’ve assembled three minds to answer your questions…

Who’s on the panel this week?

Ben McNair – One of Australia’s most well-known Fantasy managers with four top 5k finishes in his FPL career.

Holly Shand – Founder of Fantasy Football Community and a regular FPL Show guest. Currently ranked inside the top 5k ahead of Gameweek 37.

Zoumas Bloomers – One of our moderators on the site with two top 10k finishes in the last three seasons and currently ranked 22k ahead of Gameweek 37.

      People will laugh, but David Seaman was a top quality goalkeeper. Will be remembered for those lobs (Nayim and Ronaldinho), but he was solid.

        I preferred the old format of the Champions League, UEFA Cup and Cup Winners Cup tbh.

        You used to get some really good UEFA Cup matches in the latter stages. These days Chelsea and Arsenal are putting out their second teams and winning.

      Remember Arsenal being in a group with Juventus, Leverkusen and Deportivo who were the respective leaders of the big 4 leagues back then.

      Of course you need to wait to see what happens, but yeah Shaw, Lindelof, TAA, Laporte (if you can afford) are the ones I'd go for. Maybe Boly / Doherty if you can bench in GW38, perhaps for a Southampton defender.

          Soton defence could work this week - I’d be happy to field one rather than blow a transfer.

          WH are unpredictable and a blank for them is quite possible as it wouldn’t exactly surprise if they fail to produce after a big week.

        Lots of good Italian CBs in the past - Ferrara, Costacurta, Nesta.
