Fantasy Flutter – Gameweek 27

In an attempt to outfox Paddy this week, we’ve backed Manchester City’s elusive playmaker, Burnley’s talismanic striker and Newcastle’s top scorer to find their range this weekend.

Newcastle’s home clash against Aston Villa has us eyeing up Senegalese forward Papiss Cisse in our first wager of the week. The rangy frontman has recorded six goals in his last ten outings, scoring on average every 84 minutes. Moreover, Cisse has notched three braces so far this term, of which two were achieved in second-half cameos. As such, we think Paddy’s 10/1 odds on Cisse to score two or more goals against Tim Sherwood’s side are worthy of our first £3 investment.

We’re putting faith in Danny Ings to spark a Burnley win on Saturday as they host Swansea City at Turf Moor. Ings has been a revelation for the Clarets and approaches this fixture in great shape, having tallied five goals in their previous seven matches. The fact he’s scored in each of Burnley’s last three home clashes gives us further reason to part with another £3 and snap up Paddy’s 9/1 offer on Ings to score two or more goals against Swansea.

Our last, and favourite, bet this week has us backing David Silva to build upon last weekend’s brace and deliver a dominant performance at Anfield. The Spanish midfielder has netted three times in his previous four outings and proved his capacity to influence big matches with his goal at Stamford Bridge last month. With the 29-year-old in such fine form, we’re happy to take up Paddy’s 11/4 offer on Silva to score against Liverpool and hand over our remaining £4.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

90 goals in 143 league games. So eager to play in england he took a 500k a year pay cut. Completely bossed his first two games. 2 goals and an assist and a much needed 6 points. Looks right up for relegation scrap. Great signing for Steve Bruce and me 🙂

Aguero. Looks to be approaching top form and i can see a fair few goals in the game. Not much chance of him being taken off early like in the Newcastle game

It will be tight game. Thinking of punting on Silva and Sterling and wanted to know your opinion if there will be any goals in that. If that is true my punt should be good no?

Aguero. He's starting look like his old self again. Arsenal are the only team with any other players that I'd captain and with Sanchez out of form, Giroud having a shocker and Cazorla relying on pens I don't fancy risking the C on them.

Jon Walters, was the initial choice I made. But then I chose the reasonable security of Aguero.

Besides, if Walters indeed scores aplenty this week, that will be a major differential anyway, that is even without the armband. However if he does not and Aguero does then my 20K rank will convert itself to 220K in no time!

    Panti

    Aguero, Sakho

    Subs: Hamer, Terry, Hazard, Kane

    From team news:

"Oxlade-Chamberlain offers Wenger a further option in one of the central midfield roles, or indeed in the wide position currently occupied by Danny Welbeck. Theo Walcott will also be looking for a recall to the side, though another bench appearance seems likely, with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez ahead in the pecking order. Should Wenger rotate elsewhere, Tomas Rosicky could come into the side in one of the central midfield spots, perhaps pushing Santi Cazorla further forward or even to the bench. "

Really a nightmare. We as fantasy managers beg for nothing close to this
