Euro 2016

Set Piece Takers Updated

With just over 24 hours left until France and Romania get Euro 2016 underway tomorrow evening, we’ve freshened up our Set Piece Takers tab with the summer tournament in mind.

We’ve delved into the international data in our members statistics, which, as revealed last week, takes in not only all of the Qualifying Rounds and the last 12 months of international friendlies but will also include the data from the tournament itself.

This should help Fantasy managers get a handle on those players likely to be issued dead-ball duties by their respective nations and could be particularly handy for those playing the DraftKings game, which is somewhat weighted in favour of those likely to supply plenty of crosses.

The new table comprises all 24 qualifiers from Groups A-F and will, when applicable, be updated on a daily basis to address any changes to free-kick, corner kick and penalty takers as the action unfolds right up until the final in the Stade de France on July 10.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    So,

    Most have
    -Riu/Sommer
    -Perisic
    -Giroud
    -Mueller
    ...

    No one owns
    -Hazard
    -Lukaku
    -Ibra
    -Turan

    Stick or make some changes?

...and according to Cadena COPE (Spain) and L'équipe (France) Emery and PSG have agreed on a contract, and only reason why it has not been made official yet is that PSG is negotiation the termination of Blanc's contract. Firing Blanc would cost them over €22M.

clever, get business done before a tournament before price rockets for some players

      1. Polaris - The Mortal Coil

VfL Wolfsburg - Daniel Didavi, Yannick Gerhardt, Josip Brekalo, Joshua Guilavogui

Bayern Munich - Mats Hummels, Renato Sanches

Borussia Dortmund - Marc Bartra, Ousmane Dembélé, Sebastian Rode, Emre Mor, Mikel Merino

Bayer Leverkusen - Kevin Volland, Julian Baumgartlinger, Danny da Costa

        Borussia Mönchengladbach - Christoph Kramer
        Schalke 04 - Naldo
Hoffenheim - Andrej Kramarić, Kevin Vogt
Hamburger SV - Bobby Wood, Christian Mathenia
        Köln - Marco Höger

Some of the more notable ones. Excellent business already done even this early. Some real bargains there like Didavi/Naldo free transfers.

    Ramos - Schar - Dier - Giaccherini - Denayer
    Payet - Perisic - Fabregas - Matuidi - Junuzovic
    Muller - Giroud - Mandzukic

(1.0 ITB but I'm saving that for Junuzovic -> Konoplyanka)

Think I need to get rid of Denayer. Don't feel comfortable with him at all, especially because he plays late in the week. Who's the best replacement for him? Not sure that I want to risk Strinic or Guerreiro. Might just go for whichever 4.5 Romania defender starts tomorrow.
