Shaqiri back in the Liverpool attack as Klopp continues with a 4-2-3-1

The final match of Gameweek 14 is the third local derby of the day, with Everton making the short trip across Stanley Park to face Liverpool.

The Reds are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and have only conceded one goal in six top-flight matches at Anfield.

Marco Silva’s side have only lost one of their last seven Premier League fixtures, meanwhile, keeping four clean sheets along the way.

There were no major shocks upon the release of the teamsheets, with Everton indeed unchanged from the side that beat Cardiff City 1-0 in Gameweek 13.

Richarlison (£7.0m) leads the line for Everton again, with Yerry Mina (£5.4m) continuing at centre-back.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.2m) and Fabinho (£5.5m) all return to Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI after missing out in midweek, with the Reds looking like they will again line up in a 4-2-3-1.

This formation will presumably see Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) leading the line, with Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) dropping into “the hole” and Shaqiri playing out wide on the right.

Andrew Robertson (£6.5m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) also start for the third time in a week, while Joe Gomez (£5.1m) moves over to centre-back at the expense of Dejan Lovren (£4.9m).

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Mina, Keane, Digne, Gomes, Gueye, Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Richarlison.

Have already got Kane in and have 1 ft left. Is this worth a -4 long term? Priced out after tonight

Salah, Arnautovic --> Aubameyang, Sane (-4)

Ditching Arnautovic now? Look at his fixtures! Any other two strikers are preferred to lose.

Not yet. Salah has a more favourable fixture than Aubameyang and Arnautovic is in form and playing cardiff at home next fixture.

Arnie has been stuttering for awhile now. Had chances to score bigger hauls. I have doubts over his fitness over the festive period. Auba and Sane could easily workout better.

According to whats in the news, Aguero trained with the squad. He has a good goal scoring record vs watford. Ill wait more near the time and see whats up.

Guaranteed hauls over the upcoming period with this team.

    Fab - Hamer
    Robbo - Trent - Alonso - Doherty - Balbz
    Sterling - Sane - Silva - Rich - fodder
    Arnie - Wilson - Auba

1 milli in the bank. Is there any point in upgrading the fodder to someone like Brooks or Armstrong?

Is that a WC team? Looks pretty spiffing

Will Arnie be fit enough for the fixture crunch... you could swap him for FAnderson & have the fodder up front

Three city mids is a good idea - as when they all play, you get 75% of a defenders clean sheet points from them

Very similar team to mine mate so fingers crossed!!

I’ve got same defence, Mane for Dilva (& Brooks as 5th mid)

And deciding whether to go - Auba or Kane over Kun?? Can I ask why you went Auba personally? Ta!

I think Kane and Auba will score around the same, but Auba is cheaper and Arsenal seem like a more attacking team in general.

Yes Bou are in need of points but Howe needs to give the bloke some rest! And I'm just thinking what better game than HUD at home? Coz after that they got Pool.

Yep that's fair. I just think Howe will put getting 3 points above everything else, as he should do... risking not beating huddersfield at home is not something he'll want to do I'd say.

Is Aguero, Haz and Maddison > Kane, Sane and Anderson (-4) worth it?
