Fantasy Premier League managers will have to be shrewd in their decision making when it comes to picking Sheffield United players for the remainder of the season.

Their Double Gameweek in the opening round has heightened interest in their assets but it can be difficult to work out which ones are the best to consider without looking at the underlying statistics.

We are continuing our series of refresher articles, highlighting the best players at each club in the period just before the coronavirus suspension.

As we are sure you understand, a lot has changed since the climax of Gameweek 29, with Premier League players unable to fully train with their team-mates for nearly three months. 

However, it should still serve to know who was performing best before the break.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those signed up to a valid package can access it in full.

        Auba not essential. I doubt he scores against city meaning your hoping he does well against Brighton. I reckon he will get a single goal as the turn around is quick after game with city. I expect arteta to go all in on city. For his cost unless he gets 15 points plus that money could be reinvested better

      Don't just focus on a full 12 DGW set, there are SGW players like Pulisic or Alonso that might do a whole lot better, why put Pepe in just for the sake of it, he might end up with five points, Alonso, Doherty or Jiminez could get eleven!

      I'm actually debating no chip at all in 30 (I don't have my TC). The free transfers we have now allows us to create a "de facto" free hit team for 30. WC in 31. BB in 37 and FH in 38.

      In your case, you could TC in 30. It's definitely not conventional, but worth a thought.

        I don’t see BB being effective outside of the DGW.
        The chances of getting all 15 players in your team out in a SGW are pretty slim now I’d say.

      If city go up a few goals early, Auba won’t play 90 imo. Worst case I can see auba 60 and Auba 90. Regardless of previous fixtures/ results/ form/ vardy I would prefer a fit Auba on penalties accross 150 minutes

          I think auba plays 90 against city and 60 against Brighton. Arsenal must beat city if they want a chance at Europa/ champs. There is also pride at stake for arteta. Brighton arteta will know they can beat with lesser players

            I’m staying clear of all villa players. Anyone watching any current leagues like bundesliga will notice lower teams are getting smashed. I reckon Grealish gets at best a goal. They won’t score against Chelsea and I doubt against Sheffield

      I'd FH, I think the balanced team route is too difficult, how can you get Aguero, AUB, KDB and Sterling in your team while looking at the next eight fixtures, you've got a decent team as it is, FH and go for it.

      There are concerns Nyland might usurp Reina in the starting XI, and with Tierney and Kolasinac available Saka might not start either game. Is there a way to downgrade elsewhere and get Hendo + Fleck?
