The deadline for Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is almost upon us – and we’ve got everything you need to help you with your transfers and captaincy decisions on this page.

All of these pieces preceded the Friday-night announcement from Spurs that two of their players had tested positive for Covid-19, with The Times suggesting that Son Heung-min (£10.1m) wouldn’t be involved in the Lilywhites’ clash with Newcastle on Sunday. We should stress, of course, that this remains only media and internet speculation and we’ve yet to have any concrete proof on the FPL assets affected.

    This is the most up in the air WC I think I've ever had. I've explored literally everything.

    TAA out. Cheap forwards, premium forwards, KdB, mid-priced mids, 4 atb, budget mids.The only things I haven't considered are premium GK and 5 atb.

    This is gonna go down to the wire too. Hopeful we get some team news.

      Wish I was on WC this week but there’s almost too much to take in.

      I must admit I’m still toying with the idea of Ederson from next week. Cheap in goal seems to be the way to go most seasons but, now I’ve got Cancelo, I’m tempted to double up that way.

      Anyway, good luck with yours. Im sure your team will be class.
