Thoughts on this draft?? Something different.

    Ramsdale
    Shaw, James, Estupinan
    Rashford, Saka, Mbeumo, Mitoma, Enciso
    Haaland, Kane

    Areola, Beyer, Baldock, Woodrow

Bottomed so going again. Just for the hates.

"Everyone else is doing it, so I might as well. Check out this benching headache team after my earlier post about Salah to Mac Allister.

    Raya, Forster

    Gabriel, Stones, Trippier, Botman, Mings

Mac Allister, Mitoma, Rashford, Maddison, Havertz.

    Haaland, Gapko, Nick Jackson."

Where will mcallister play for Liverpool? Do people think it’s a deeper role taking the keita, Milner role or more forward?

He will probably be off penalties too right so his appeal lessens there

Bit punty but could be fun. I suspect Jackson will mostly cameo so you might end up with a 7m (?) 1st sub which isn't really ideal. But let's see who else Chelsea sign

Is this the best Trent, Salah and Haaland draft? If not where can I improve it?

    Pickford
    Trent, Gabriel, Estupinan
    Salah, Saka, Mitoma, Mbeumo, Enciso
    Haaland, Nkunku

    4.0, Beyer, Baldock, Woodrow

Dodgy bench and having to play encisco, mbeumo, mitoma and nkunku every week might seem look a good idea now but not sure how that’s going to look a few weeks on

At the end of the year, Foden was playing a more centralized attacking role and absolutely thriving in it. I think he is nailed until he does something to piss Pep off again lol

How can you have James over Gabriel/Saliba?

Maddison over Son for me, that 7.5 mid spot could be good with Foden etc

Nkunku is a wait and see especially with Chelsea being so poor and their history with strikers

How much do you think Harvey Barnes will be in FPL, if he gets a move? More noise now that he could be on his way to Newcastle.

Could also hasten ASM's exit with Everton and Palace being linked in the last few days.

    1. Piggs Boson
      • 12 Years

He's alright, nothing to get excited about though, unless he's cheap. There's a reason why Sterling, Rashford, and Grealish are ahead of him for England.

      1. Hairy Potter
        • 9 Years
        11 months, 2 days ago

Yeah, not putting him ahead of any of them in terms of England, but could be a decent FPL option if in the 6-7m bracket. He did get 13 league goals last season in a poor Leicester team.

Yeah, if Barnes comes in, I reckon ASM goes. On the right, Miggy and Murphy over performed and we could probably do with a bit more quality. Not sure how farfetched the Chiesa talk is.

Not seeing Foden in any squads posted on here?
18 attack returns in only 1832 minutes last season (22 starts in 32 apps). That will surely go up with Gundo gone and Bilva going Saudi.
I think his value will be around the 23-24 range this season.

Assessing the best £4.5m defender options for the opening GWs.
GW1: Webster (Brighton home to Luton).
GW2: Cash / Digne (Villa home to Everton)
GW3: Fofana / Badiashile (Chelsea home to Luton)
GW4: Fofana / Badiashile (Chelsea home to NFO)
GW5: Cash / Digne (Villa home to Palace)
GW6: Webster (Brighton home to Bournemouth)

TAA - Saliba - Webster/Fofana/Cash could make a solid back 3 early doors.

Seeing Arsenal fixtures for first 8 weeks look good

What do you feel the most important three Arsenal Players to pick.

I'm stuck at the moment with the exception on Saka if to stack attack or
go balance with Arsenal defenders as well?

I'd probably want a defender in there; Gabriel vs Saliba is as broad as it is long I think.

I'd also want to double up in attack, but I'm going with Saka and Jesus simply because there are more options from other teams in midfield I want.

What happened to the best 7 attackers from the best 7 teams? Only Haaland survived.

I’m all for RMT, but. What’s the point in a RMT when you just pick the template?

Doubt I’ll go for it but had a go at a bench boost squad, assuming Aroela plays.

    Pickford / Areola
    AA - Stones - Shaw - Tarkowski - Estupinan
Martinelli - Saka- McNeil - Enciso - Foden
    Haaland - Ferguson - Jesus

Both Brighton assets are 1 pt cameo risks unfortunately. I'd like to have them, especially Ferguson, but I don't trust them to get enough starts.

After watching these RMTs I have strange feeling that this game has still much more to do with skill than luck. (Except every other season when variance is against me).

Yeah this is what it comes down to, long-term B) should come out on top but feel A) could prosper in the short term
