Oh damn. They're introducing the world cup stoppage time rules to the league. Nailed players gonna be playing a lot more now and clean sheets probably go down.

If a player plays 10 mins first half stoppage time and gets hauled off on "59 minutes", what gives?

Stoppage time doesn’t count towards the 60

Which makes it a bit of a nonsense. I wonder if FPL Towers will think this over for next season.

They won't. Stoppage time is supposed to cover lost minutes in the 45.

You can see his point though if you consider the opposite scenario. Easier to imagine in the second half. A player who has played the first half starts the second half. There is a lengthy injury break on (say) 50mins. A player could get the clean sheet points after barely playing 5 or so “active” second half minutes

The easiest fix is a clean sheet after 60 active mins then

That preparedness from Jesus owners to make that transfer to Watkins/Darwin/Nkunku just adds to my thoughts that he isn’t a great pick. I guess (h) to Forest on the opening GW is appealing though.

I think we'll see a mix of both. Wissa probably preferred but Schade was bought for a reason and is quite a different profile to him. I had hoped Wissa would be first choice but it's become enough of a worry that I'm reluctant to go with him now

Haven't seen much talk about the Super Cup that City are playing between week 1 and 2 fixtures. Any thoughts on whether Pep play Haaland back to back to back? Will have some impact on whether to get Salah or not as the alternative captain option, especially week 2 could be important

      Very similar to mine:

      Pinnock - Henry - Chilwell
      Salah - Bruno - Saka - Mbuemo - Mitoma

Thing about Darwin is that he was getting in such good positions last year, so I just hope that something clicks in his 2nd season and he'll deliver.

So is Robbo, Akanji, Rashford and Martinelli instead of Bruno and Saka.

    Onana (Areola)
    TAA - Gabriel - Estupinan (Chilwell-Beyer)
    Saka-Rashford-Eze-Mitoma-Diaby
    Haaland-Nkunku (Mubamba)

Keep second guessing myself and changing my team up. Leaving out Foden is difficult, but allowed me to keep Nkunku who will probably be rotation-proof, and balance my midfield out.

      Why you want Nkunku?
When is the last time new forward player at Chelsea had a good start of the season?

His pre-season looks promising, Chelsea's fixtures look great after Week 1 and I want a foot in, and Jackson could end up being a back-up if they get another premium forward signing.

          Fair enough.
          Good luck.

Is anyone toying with a 4.5m defender rotation or is there no point given that some of the better defenders this year are 5-5.5m?

I would say most of us are rotating if playing 3,5,2 or 3,4,3

I think Beyer is a must own for a 4.0. Some decent 4.5 choices, but the 5.0+ ones are a lot stronger.

Not intending to rotate week by week in a specific manner, but I'm looking at having Colwill, Pau Torres and either Andersen or Udogie

I'd say Nkunku and Foden, but otherwise, B.
