      KDB was a hold anyway.

It's questionable if Pep just wanted him to get the minutes into his play to find that rhythm.

Anyhow Tuesday night to Sunday afternoon should be no problem for a professional footballer.

He's not exactly old at 32 or 33 either.

I don't know! I already started explaining to Kev where the bins go but I'm on WC so its not too late to call him back and apologise...

Do we think he'll be reliable for starts now?

I gave him $2 and told him Mr Whippy was around the corner, no regrets. Can’t have a lollygagger in the team if you keep having to wonder whether they’re playing or not! I’ll just wait for Son/Salah, I’d rather them anyway.

So, after tonight's game, non-FH can safely load up on two from Luton, Sheffield United, Forest or Man United to avoid a FH?

Yeah that's a pass from me....

      *Until gw30 WC

I won’t have any Sheffield and won’t be taking hits for XI. How much extra do you think the FH will achieve in 29 versus dgw with XI double players?

The players to have as it stands are Son, Watkins, Toney, Bowen and Rich. I already have three of them. Add to that Areola, Taylor and Pau + 3FTs and a hit or two and it would be perfectly cromulent to save the FH! And that’s if no more fixtures are scheduled for GW29. If Bournemouth play everyone should already have Solanke too, injury dependent of course.

This is my current Front 8 (Already have a bench headache). Would you get Son this week? Or save the FT next week to get an extra DGW player?

Hmm my objective prediction would probably be something like 2-1 Chelsea, but at the same time I'm feeling quite optimistic & think we have a decent chance, especially after Chelsea's ET on Sun / if they rotate substantially. Palmer v Firpo is a bit of a concern but I'm pretty sure we'll score

silly comment but there is no reason to have gotten him
in whatsoever before presser. im not sure with people do it with any player especially after watching solanke get injured in the city game. yes he played on but wasn't moving freely

Come on, price change is a pretty good reason and people are willing to take a gamble on this, It's a game of probabilites combined with taking risks. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not.

for a player as cheap as solanke I dont see any reason for it whatsoever. especially this season when there has been more money in the bank than usual with big players missing for long periods. you lose .1 .2 so what? i think a lot of it honestly is people just getting wanting stare at their team for the week. its burned so many people on here (Hoijland?). no one should be going near their teams unitl all the managers have said their piece on thur and friday

Personally I find I play better when I make early moves, otherwise spend the week dithering and over-thinking. Like to get it done and the stop thinking about it. Yes it carries a risk but how many times does a player actually get injured mid week - it's pretty rare.

              1. boc610

fair enough but the gains seem negligible to me . when you get info from a manager about the status of a player thats not over thinking its just patience . the dithering and overthinking comes before hand when you dint have any info and your just speculating and tbh fussing over something you have no control over. when a manger tells you something or doesnt then at least you have peice of mind. that deadline is the same for everyone. im not sure what advantage you have had in taking the risk early in the week from the person who transfers in a player a 1059 on a saturday after just waiting and doing nothing.

Think it might be more the expectation of a double rise than price/affordability?

But I don't really see why people get so worked up about it either way tbh.

If Solanke's out, it solves my benching headache, even if out for DGW. He woudl have over 100% EO in DGW28 anyway, then FH29 and then Wildcard him out in GW30 if still not fit. Only consequence is I wasted an early transfer this week. Hey ho.
