Dread it. Run from it. Blank Gameweek 31 arrives all the same. And now, it’s here.

The depleted round of fixtures that we have been planning for (or not) for weeks is now just minutes away, with the 2pm deadline looming large.

To usher us into the first cluster of matches are Joe and David with a special edition of Breakfast Club, brought to you on your lunch instead.

From 1:45 pm we will be live on our YouTube channel discussing our Blank Gameweek 31 plans, and you can also watch in the embedded link in the article below.

Then at 2 pm we will bring you the team news from the three matches taking place at 3pm.

    Hoping for a haul from Tielemans today. Had him for a few weeks now as I have been impressed from what I have seen from him.

    Over his five games thus far he averages 2.4 shots per game. A goal and two assists over the same time frame.

          It’s looking very hopeful! The problem is it will be a struggle to stay up in the PL as we simply don’t have as much cash as other clubs.
          However the quality in our team is outstanding.

          I think so, if you get a .2 rise from a player you don’t want to keep, you can then sell for the .1 profit and use it as part of your FH budget ... it’s a 2 week gameweek too so you could get 3 or 4 of those double risers as people clear out their GW31 dross and have an extra .3 or .4 budget

          If you bought AWB for £4.0m then you will dump him for GW35 as he won't have a DGW. But you don't get the full value for him because of the way price rises work.

          So as an AWB owner who purchased at £4.0m it is a poor result.

              That is the point. He was a perfect GW35 BB option. Now he is not. And because of the way price rises work, you don't get his full value to buy a replacement. This means you end up expending extra budget to find a replacement.

                  Pretty much everyone who plays GW31 plays GW33. So GW33 isn't the issue. GW35 is now the issue and getting as many DGWers as possible.

                  As an owner, he was the perfect BB option for GW35. Cheap (£4.0m), with at least one good fixture. Replacing him is not easy because you only get £4.2m for him, so in all likelihood you will expend some budget replacing him.

                  When you replace him on your GW34 WC for a GW35 DGW and realise you are only getting £4.2m for him and need to expend extra budget to find a good nailed DGW option you will see it was a poor result.

                You need to more transfers than you have saved, and then the option to activate will appear. And yes, price changes will apply to your pre-free hit team.

                      Doesn't work like that, if you buy at 11.8 then price decreases to 11.7 then so does selling value, so you do lose 0.1.
