Recapping the best Manchester United players ahead of FPL restart

Our series of team-by-team refresher articles continues with a look at Manchester United, as the clock ticks down on the Fantasy Premier League resumption in June.

Taking data from Gameweeks 24-29 as a jumping-off point for wider discussion, we will be analysing the Red Devils’ prospects for the season run-in and pinpointing the Fantasy assets who could prosper in the remaining nine Gameweeks.

United certainly have one of the more appealing fixture schedules in Gameweeks 30+ to 38+, playing only one of the ‘big six’ and half a dozen of the clubs currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

In decent form shortly before coronavirus stopped play, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will also welcome back Marcus Rashford (£8.8m) and Paul Pogba (£8.3m) from injury when we recommence this month.

          Yeah fair enough. I think he might get you clean sheets but I don’t think he will get you the save points as say hendo and you can take advantage of his DW

      Yeah I’ve gone for aguerooooooo. But I agree with you that his chances of starting both games could be slim. He has better scoring points so probably right choice?

    Morning guys, currently between these 2 combos, but I don't have a wildcard so having to consider the long term.

    A) Egan Boly Mane Auba
    B) Stevens Doherty Son Kun

    Will Pogba get much gametime and how will that impact on Bruno's FPLness?

      Pogba should get plenty of minutes. I think he'll be given every opportunity to impress.

      From what I know about OGS & United's gameplay from recent history i think Pogba McTomnay will play double pivot & Bruno will be given a free role to rome between 8 to 10.

      Pens would stay with him only until he misses 2/3 in a row. So i think Pogba returning would impact nicely on United's overall gameplay.

      As for FPL, i think Bruno's output won't change much. But Tony & Rashford will become very potent with double creative force behind them. It all depends upon which Pogba is playing though.
      He can be pain in the ass too 😀

    Okay so I really need some opinions on this one. Used my WC to this team before the break (can't even recall what my thinking was at the time). But how many of these players would you feel confident keeping for the remainder of the fixtures? Have BB and FH to use. Not sure which to use for 30+.
