Dugout Discussion – Spurs vs Everton

Attention now turns to Wembley Stadium and, in particular, the fortunes of Harry Kane as Spurs host Everton.

Kane was brought in by 288,000+ ahead of today’s deadline, second only to Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard. He is backed by over 1.8 million with the armband as he bids to shake off memories of the double Gameweek disappointment.

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min heads into this contest with his ownership bloated by the recent investment ahead of Spurs’ two Gameweek 22 fixtures. Now part of 745,000 squads, he is looking to score for a fifth successive home match.

Dele Alli also has form – he’s supplied two goals and four assists over his last four Gameweek starts, while Christian Eriksen boasts just two assists over the same period.

Cenk Tosun will be the centre of attention for Everton. He could yet supply Fantasy managers with a mid-price forward solution and has already been snapped up by 27,000+ managers before kicking a Premier League ball.

    Is Edwards a decent pick? Decent fixtures after next week, has played 90 minutes in each of his last 4 games. With Hughes gone though, who knows whether he's nailed on in the long term?

        That's true. Who would you get for 4.0 or less though? Won't be playing him every (/any) week, but preferably would like as close to I can as a sure starter.

    Anything worth doing here? Wanted an extra City attacker, but the only realistic way would be to lose Son or Kane, and that seems insane atm.

      Only attackers worth getting is Aguero or KDB and you have Kane anyway. Also Man city will prob have a blank gw 28 so your're all good..

    The Son dilemma...

    The lad is playing well and has been providing plenty of points lately, but Spurs upcoming matches are turning to the worst.

    Is it time to ship him out for a player such as Mahrez?

      Assuming you have Kane then yes. Wouldn't fancy having two Spurs attackers with their fixtures, and given that Mahrez is more expensive, you can always switch back when fixtures turn again.

      Over the last 3/4weeks having a four man back line has been working very well. When u compare that Kane is the only striker consistent enough for hsi price tag. At the same time there is a whole load of defenders who are alot cheaper getting better points than alot of striker's. I personally have switched to 4-5-1 in recent weeks and it works a treat.

      I don't agree that we should limit ourselves to 3defenders. You will be missing out on alot of points
