Q: What do people think about a possible Timber return?

Zin and Tomi rotation make picking the LB position hard....but Timber scored a great goal for Arsenal U21s recently and I think Arteta wants him back in the side (presumably at LB?)

"That's a quick step! [playing against Tottenham next weekend] Let's see how he feels today [Monday]. He has been training really good, he looks ready.
"He needs that exposure and after that we will assess whether that game comes at the right time or too fast. We will try to get him with us for the final games."

i dont see a return for zinchenko in the run in after what happened in the villa game where he had a complete nightmare (the game where they probably lost the title)

never a good sign...he's a liability every time he plays, even with all the good things he has to offer from an attacking standpoint.

He’ll be the starting left back next season. Adding him to our defence will be insanely good

I don’t think we’ll see him this season. Maybe a bench appearance in one of the home games but I doubt it

Tomiyasu is current first choice but don’t go there

    Hi All

If you'd like to take on the Scout Picks before the end of the season, now's your chance!

Email me at will@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with the subject heading “Community Picks”. Please include your FFS username and FPL Team ID.

You need to pick 11 players to challenge the Scout Picks in a one-off head-to-head match.

If chosen, you will have a budget of £83m to select 11 players (no subs) but outside of that standard FPL rules apply - you need to use a normal FPL formation with a limit of three players from a team. And remember to pick a captain and a vice-captain.

When you apply let me know which Gameweeks you are available or not available for. Hopefully everyone who applies can have a go before the end of the season.

The manager with the biggest winning margin at the end of the season wins a £100 Amazon voucher and entry to our Mods and Cons League for next season. The current leader is The-Red-1, who set an impressive 34-point winning margin back in Gameweek 16.

I have found you in the great Hall of Shame! Truly execrable, there is a seat for you at the round table - next to Sir Downwind the Flatulent I’m afraid. But don’t worry, the Mentaculus is on the other side!

What to do here then? I have 0.2m ITB plus 2 FTs. Need 0.3m more to get a playing keeper for BB which will be Dubravka.

Zab>Van de Ven for DGW35, then on to Van Hecke next week. OR go straight to Van Hecke? So essentially is a double gameweek out of Van de Ven worth two transfers? Or just get Van Hecke done and relax before something else comes up...?

    Henderson
    Gabriel ZAB GUSTO
    Salah SON(vc) Saka Ode PALMER(c)
    Haaland Solanke

    Kelleher Mateta Branthwaite Richards

Double GW37 will be very hard to predict… There’s going to be massive fails imo… I would get VDV, but that’s just me…So the best in the end is to go with your gut

I think I will, then have four doublers this week and two FTs for GW36. You never know he may smash one in and somebody else might get injured which will open the door for a better DGW keeper...

Pope likely to be back before end of season so you may have to rethink Dubravka.

Newcastle are hopeful that Pope, whose sweeper-keeper style has been a huge miss to the team, will be available to play before the end of the season, but in terms of the Euros a small window appears to be closing.

On WC and am really struggling over Jackson, Feels like a classic case of following the herd, but then I look at his value and he is a real enabler for other picks. He is just awful to watch, reminds me of Watkins at his worst before his turnaround in form under Emery.

Think we need to be realistic and accept that anything more than 4pts across the 2 dgw fixtures from Jackson is a bonus. At the same price point its very possible that Hoijund and Solanke will match or exceed that in their respective single gameweek fixtures..

167 on FH and back in the game! Thoughts on this WC please lads. Thinking of then doing Maddison to Foden in 36 ready for BB 37

    Onana
    Gusto - Shar - Porro
    Son - Palmer © - Bruno - Gordon - Maddison
    Isak - Jackson

Ederson - Dalot - Haaland - Van Hecke

Prebooking a transfer would be my biggest concern. Something unexpected that disrupts your planning is almost certain to happen over the next 3 GW that is likely to need more than 1FT to sort properly.

Smooth : Branthwaite and Mateta points turn a 8 point red into a 25% green arrow last night and a season high of 18k
Rough: Last minute switch from Ode or Havertz cost me 3 points, and opted out of doing Gordon to Eze (bench Palmer) for a hit (another 9 points)

Watkins 1 goal away from golden boot(without scoring a pen) and favourite for playmaker award(most assists in the league).
    Fixtures:
    CHE(H): Villa can score 3
    BHA(A): Villa can score 2
    LIV(H): Villa can score 2
    CRY(A): Villa can score 2-3
I was ready to go without him on WC but given the fact he is involved in 2/3 of his team's goals I expect 6 returns in the last 4 gws for Watkins
