Our latest Numbers Game article focuses on Everton, who many Fantasy managers are backing in their droves ahead of some appealing fixtures in the first 13 Gameweeks of 2019/20.

The Toffees sit top our Season Ticker over this time, meeting only two of the ‘big six’ between now and the end of December.

Not one of their first six away fixtures is against a side that finished in the top half of the Premier League in 2018/19.

The Numbers Game series delves into the underlying attacking and defensive statistics of last season and is only available for Members to read.

I would be very nervous about the bench but if you have plans to wildcard early-ish it could be a good plan

Same problem with bench here, wonder if it's worth having VVD over Robbo or Trent to upgrade. Other option is Ings over a forward i guess..

I wouldn't worry tbh. I think at least two of those will get minutes anyway.

I figure the best strategy is to max out funds on the pitch before early wildcard.

I guess it depends, some are going with Sterling and Kane, that means you don't really need the Salah captaincy option. Others going without Salah are going triple Liverpool defence which is always a risk.

Over a season maybe. But you need to pick players for phases in the season. Firmino usually starts well from what i remember.

But Zinchenko could score more than VVD initially. You don't pick players for a whole season.

          • 13 Years
          6 years, 8 months ago

yes but you also don’t pick players on the basis of a single game week. Anyway you on something if you think pool are less likely to get a clean sheet than city away.

Can someone help me - for whatever reason, having logged in, as a member I am still not able to access this article. What might I be doing wrong?

Are you sure, you don't have the little scout logo next to your name/number, so something's wrong.

Strange, maybe try signing out, and then back in again.
Failing that send an email to someone.
