Try Fantasy Football Scout Membership for free with our three-day trial

Ever wondered what Fantasy Football Scout Membership was all about?

If you’ve resisted the pull so far, we’ve got just the thing for you.

For the first time ever, we’re offering a FREE three-day trial of our Members Area, which provides full access to all the extra articles, stats and tools that subscribers enjoy.

To take advantage of this limited-time-only offer, sign up to an annual or monthly subscription as normal and you won’t be billed a penny for the first three days.

You can cancel at any time during those first 72 hours, too.

After that point, monthly and annual Memberships will be billed at £2.99 and £17.50 respectively.

This offer expires on Tuesday June 21.

REGISTER HERE FOR A FREE THREE-DAY TRIAL

Full-season Fantasy Football Scout subscriptions are our best-value package and cost £17.50 for a full 12 months – that’s the equivalent of less than £1.46 a month.

If you’re new to the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout Membership, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page.

The YouTube video below also provides you with a whistle-stop tour of the Members Area.

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition this season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you identify players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez did in 2018/19.

We’ve also introduced Members-only comments and Hot Topics to allow for detailed discussions of content behind the pay-wall.

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools (below) were both refined for 2019/20, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

Reigning Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy is a paid-up Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a Member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the Fantasy Football Scout team and develop more ideas.

Here are just some of the features you can enjoy as a subscriber:

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots, chances created among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Members can also create custom tables based on the data and share them with other subscribers (an example from last season is shown above).

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

CUSTOMISABLE SEASON TICKER

Sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well using our customisable Season Ticker.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members’ Area is also available here.

Membership is overpriced. It's essentially £17.50 to get help for a game that is free for all.

Back in the day, becoming members was more of a thank you to Mark. These days, it's not worth considering at that price.

I was a member to support the site for since I started rather than for the content. Don’t get me wrong I used the data but only when a few times a season

Although the hike in price and the direction of the site over the years means I probably won’t be renewing next season

Twitter seems to have all the data nowadays in any case and I’m more than happy to get the stats there

    Sideways Moves

At this late stage of the season, are sideways moves the right thing to do, or is it just chasing points?

We’ve seen Manchester City’s points spread around the midfield, with many fortunate ton benefit from a Raheem Sterling haul in GW35. Should he be top priority now, even for managers tripled up on their assets already? He's the second highest City option in the captains poll this week, with 5% of the boot, behind Kevin de Bruyne with 7%. Sterling does top the Rate My Team tool.

Triple ups have also caused headaches at Manchester United, where Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford are concerned. Many decided to switch from Rashford to Greenwood and are now considering reversing that move. Greenwood has scored one more goal since the restart, but Rashford has had seven big chances, with Greenwood on zero.

Looking at my own squad, I’m currently sat on Phil Foden, who has frustrated over the last three games. Would it be better to make the switch to David Silva for his swansong? Foden has 14 shots since the restart to Silva's 10, but Silva carries a greater assist threat. Only De Bruyne, Rashford and Vardy have created more big chances than Silva over the same period.

Meanwhile, at Liverpool, Sadio Mane has prevailed to a greater extent than Mo Salah in their last game. Salah does dominate the underlying statistics, with more big chances and shots. Would a switch from one to the other be fortunate or foolish with just two games to go?

    1. Cahill
      • 13 Years
      3 years, 9 months ago

      similar worries myself.

not sure how badly i need sterling; will mahrez suffice?
      will foden start against watford?

I'm so tempted to make the Foden to Silva move this week, but feel like 2FT will be more powerful going into the final gameweek when both are equally likely/unlikely to see minutes midweek.

Same thoughts on Foden and Greenwood.I think i prefer Mahrez though because he can be more explosive than DSilva.
If we knew that Greenwood will get a rest in the fa cup i guess we would keep him.

I shipped KDB >> Sterling last week . That felt a waste but could work out over the next two.
I’m currently sat on Fernandes,Rashford and Greenwood but would love Martial.
Guess I can’t go there. Fernandes > Martial isn’t worth it and Greenwood > Martial would need a hit.

I currently only have one City player(Sterling) and plan Pulisic > Silva in 38 to make it two.

I like the move for the third City player. I would be nervous to go into GW37+ without Martial: he's been dominant at Old Trafford.

The only way I can fit Martial in this week for -4 is if I did Salah + Greenwood >> Martial + 9.5m . I’m reluctant to drop Salah.

Fernandes > Martial. I need to sleep on that one.

I'm tempted to ditch AWB + Foden to get Martial for a - 4 this week to then ship Vardy to Jesus in 38.

I think the issue here is what is considered a sideways move. A move like KdB > Sterling would be considered sideways at any other stage of the season but in the past few weeks with the cups clearly the priority it has high upside.

Similarly, many would consider moving around within Martial/Bruno/Rashford as sideways any other time of the season but if you acknowledge Martial's home form and number 9 position then it would be an upside move to go for him targeting fixtures.

At any stage a sideways move like Saiss > Boly or Long > Tarkowski is probably a waste but if there is an upside to it, then it could easily pay off over 2-3 GWs as we have been seeing.

KdB > Sterling, Mahrez > D.Silva, Taylor > Tarkowski, Lascelles > Ritchie, Holgate > Digne, all examples of "sideways" moves that have shown an upside in recent weeks.

Foden & Greenwood have dipped in form, it's not just the productivity, it's the fact they're not playing as well as before.

    G2G?

    0itb -4
    Pope
    TAA, Tark, Kiko
Salah, Sterling, Dilva, Bruno, Martial (C)
    Vardy, Ings
    (Martin) (Greenwood, Simpson, Lascelles)

I know the defence is potentially majorly dodgy but I feel like we are always at risk of defenders disappointing us anyway!
