                  I dont like to admit defeat but also a good chance to get 15 quality fairly nailed on players in to cover injuries. Ive already benched Andersen twice so Im used to bench heartache lol

                    Yeah it makes total sense, and can have a stacked squad now that we know Salah simply isn’t needed.
                    Bench heartache is something I’m all too familiar with also, but last few seasons I’ve hardly any bench jam ever! Haha!

                      Salah did return 3/3 games, and today he returned playing 10 vs. 11 away to Newcastle.

                      Why Salah > Diaz is way better was shown today, but it works like this in 99/100 scenarios regarding Salah and the rest of the Liverpool attacking players.

                      A red card (Salah stays on the pitch).
                      3 matches in a week (Salah starts on the pitch)
                      Missing a lot of penalties (Salah still takes the next)

                      Now they got better fixtures ahead I'd want to own Salah rather than have 15 equally strong players, but that is just me.

                      After all you can get a team like this on WC:

                      Areola - 4.5
                      Chilwell - Trippier - Udogie - Gusto - 4.0
                      Salah - Saka - Maddison - Sterling - Mbeumo
                      Haaland - Wissa - 4.5

      Actually, I’d go for Vicario if I was going for another set and forget.

      However, Onana has some decent fixtures coming up and even Ederson bombed against Sheffield United, so there are no real guarantees when it comes to keepers.

    For everyone considering jumping on the Nunez bandwagon for hits etc. just be prepared for the fact that he will be benched at least 40% of the time. Yes he came on and made a great impact but Klopp still isn’t 100% sold on him as a nailed on starter (even expressed during today’s post match press conference). He’ll likely play against Villa on the back of that performance but if he doesn’t score, don’t be surprised if he’s benched the following week.

    Not trying to put anyone off getting him but just know that if you do, expect the benchings.

        Yes, you have to get lucky. I had Diaz but wildcarded him out due to fitness issues (i was at the bournemouth game and he looked knackered). Again came off today due to muscular fatigue (In addition to needing to take an attacker off due to the red.).

        The only nailed attacker is Salah but he’s not worth the price and could be off to Saudi.

        I have no Liverpool players in my team. If people want to take the risk and gamble on one then go for it, but i prefer to pick nailed players!

    Fulham play Tottenham in 2 days on Tuesday night in the League Cup.

    Forest v Burnley on Wednesday.

    Chelsea play too as do Luton (Tues), Sheffield United and Everton on Wednesday.

    It will be a squad game but some players will be involved.

    Plus transfer deadline week, probably worth holding transfers until Friday rather than thinking about 0.1m here or there.

      South American teams have 6 world cup qualifiers coming up over X months that will be a top priority for most players involved.

      So for Brighton players that's Premier League, Europa Cup, World Cup qualification plus FA Cup etc.

      Newcastle too but Champions League. Guess that's when Harvey Barnes gets a run of starts.
