WC 30/31 BB34 FH37 is being criminally overlooked for those with a FH.

      Downside is you'd want 6 x CHE/TOT for 35 or 36, and 37.

Chelsea play Arsenal and Tottenham don't play at all.

Why would you want 3x spurs for a double of Pool and Chelsea both away? They’ve Arsenal in 35 too and away to Newcastle in 33. Outside of Son there’s no need for anyone else. Same thing with Chelsea outside of Palmer. Going to plenty of rotation there.

I'd personally want them as someone on FH34 and WC35.
It would be silly to think that Spurs can't compete and score against the teams you've mentioned.

I’m sure spurs will compete against those teams but I’d personally rather Pool / Arsenal defenders over them. I think people get too drawn into doubles at times and just want to have the “max” amount of potential games

Only 2 clean sheets combined in last 14 games in LFC v Spurs matches. There will be goals, so own Son and Rich.

Chelsea have good options at great prices. No brainer to carry them. 2 lottery tickets is better than 1.

I am a lover of a double gameweek though. It just makes sense.

      I agree

I'd play it that way too

      I'm active wildcard and BB37

It's the Spurs doubles and no FH29 means plenty of Spurs players.

So using that to side step gw34.

      I mean...

What could go wrong in the Spurs run in?

Chelsea also of limited appeal to me. Palmer and Gusto for now.

I would do the same, if I still had a FH

The argument is Spurs/Chelsea have good GW38 fixtures as does Man City, but so do Arsenal and Liverpool, if it goes all the way, and the Newcastle Man Utd fixtures are good leading up to it. I get that bit too.

But the doubles are so much better in GW34, I'd BB that week if i could.

Agree to all this. And it’s my plan. BB37 is way too far off to plan for now - injuries, rotation, teams with nothing to play for etc

Disagree. WC now, FH 34 and BB 37 is optimal imo. Don't want any Palace, wolves, Bournemouth SHU etc long term, still have a sprinkling of Liverpool and Arsenal and then maximise Chelsea and Spurs (who have 2 doubles), United and Newcastle who all have great fixtures from now till the end of the season.

I’m with you on this. I think maximising the doubles is WC30 FH34 BB37.

WC for a BB37 means you own better players from better teams who have better and MORE fixtures for the remainder of the season.

But GW37 is still 7 GWs away. How can you plan for a BB so far away?
Anyways, go ahead with it if you want it though.

Aren't the better teams Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and then Villa before the rest of the pack?

Insightful comeback from the Philosopher! Why not post your WC team for BB34 FH37 and we'll compare notes? The upside of my approach is not necessarily locking in every move of the BB37 team now (there are loads of transfers between now and then to correct any issues that may arise), it's more to do with maximising the great fixtures and double doubles for Spurs and Chelsea which occur either side of 34.

Looking forward to hearing you explain to me why having Palace, Bournemouth, Palace, Wolves, Everton players long term while not having Chelsea and Spurs for their extra double and great single GW fixtures is the superior strategy

If I had WC left I still don’t see the logic with bb34/fh37, despite reading both sides of the “war” this week, unless you don’t think spurs/chelsea assets can score points?

It’s irrelevant to me as I played WC28 so FH34 is pre determined

To get Haaland next week, I need 1.8m.

Which of these downgrades do you prefer?

    A. Maddison to Gordon/Garnacho
    B. Son to Foden
    C. Toney to Cunha/Munis

With Maddison I'd have to do both moves next week.

More flexible with Toney because I could bring in Cunha for Burnley and then Haaland in 32.

Allison out for a while longer I think now.
Darwin should be fine (but feel it could be the bench for him)
Jota wont be back for another few, Trent a little before him.

Expect Trent to have managed mins. Bench appearance, then a start and off after 60. Next game subbed off too.
Jota will defo be managed. The lad barely makes it past 65 mins even when fit.

Can't see TAA being a viable pick between now and the end of the season personally, multiple injuries leading to a decent layoff and Bradley has shown he's more than capable of deputising and competing for that spot (better defensively too)

I think I really am set on WC35, because the fixtures look good for GW38 for everyone apart from Brighton.

But dont have Haaland, i feel i need him against GW31 to 33, as he will start against Luton if fit, but it is still an extra transfer

Bowen to Salah, to do this week but could be tempted to WC , only BB left though. The triple Bournemouth did well in 28, so it may or may not continue, but GW34 isnt great.
    5.7ITB
    Neto (Turner)
    Gabriel Moreno Gusto (Estu, Doherty)
    Saka Palmer Foden Son Salah(c)
    Solanke Watkins (Semenyo)

I guess I do Watkins to Haaland and not get Darwin, or other thoughts were Bradley, and VVD for Estu for a hit, but VVD stops getting in Haaland.

    Hence the WC thought? GW31

Thoughts? I have 0.6m itb so could make some minor upgrades somewhere.

With a BB chip left, and no transfers, this gives me:
8 for DGW 34 (Darwin, Salah, Andersen, Saka, Saliba, Pickford, Branthwaite, Solanker)
4 for DGW 35/36 (TOT/CHE - Son, Palmer, Gusto, Petrovic)

Tats what i am considering, but probably stick to the WC35 set up, but having 3 bournemouth for the double isnt great, but nice fixtures before hand, but they have only won a couple of times since Boxing day I think

I need to decide between A and B myself and I'm not sure - probably B unless I hear that Saka is not starting

Anyone else considering Luis Diaz? He's been pretty good in the last few games.

    1. Start Gabriel Saliba Gusto bench Doughty and -4 next week to get Haaland
2 Start Gabriel Doughty Gusto bench Saliba and -4 next week to get Haaland
    3. Doughty to Bradley for -4 this week and bench Saliba and get Haaland next week with FT

Which one is the best among these options

    Thanks

3 as they are all -4 and this way you have a better defence this week

Any reason why I see so many WC30 teams with Gabriel (or more than 1 Arsenal player for that matter)? If you have FH34, then you would only start him once (v Luton) and then have to sell him on before BB37. Seems a waste of a transfer.

      May be they're BB34 and FH37?

I don’t see how that would be an optimal chip strategy, but I suppose you’d be right if they chose that route.

My options to get Salah are limited to:
    A) Kdb and Son out for Salah and Richi
    B) Kdb and Solanke/Watkins out for Salah and Semenyo/Muniz

Swaying towards A as was pretty happy owning Richi over Son before.
Would also leave me the opportunity to move Watkins to Darwin in a week or so. Thoughts?

    How’s it looking:

    WC30:
    Petrovic Onana
    Gusto Bradley Udogie Ake Lascelles
    Son Salah Palmer Saka Richarlison
    Haaland Isak Muniz

    GW31: Roll
    GW32: Bradley to VH
GW33: Saka to Garnacho & Muniz to Højlund
    FH34
    GW35: Roll
GW36 or BB37: Salah to KDB
    GW38: Richarlison to Salah

    11 GW34 doubles
    6 GW36 doubles
    15 GW37 doubles

      Yeah

      Decent

The path to gw37 may not prove to be quite so smooth...

      Do Chelsea keep clean sheets?
